Do bans still work the way they used to?

If you were a member and caught botting, you would get a 2 day warning ban. If caught again you would be perma banned. This is pretty much how almost all cases were unless extremely severe.

(This is as of about 1.5 or 2 years ago when I played.)

I recently have come back to playing and am wondering if its still the same way or more harsh (instant perma ban immediately?).

If you are doing any form of money making botting you will be perma banned no questions asked.
If you are on a decently leveled account (from what I heard) and you aren't doing anything money making related, they will give you a 48 hour ban as a slap on the wrist.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Aslong you not farming you should only get a 3 day ban and worst case if you do bot on a diff ip and when it dose get banned say you was hacked

 

This is correct. Account age determines wether a 48 hour ban happens or not. Always assume the worst though. I've seen mains banned for nmz, etc.

 

I've gotten banned on a level 98 for botting yews and was straight perm ban first offence. Whenever i ran my F2P gold farming bots was same thing, after a day or 2 they would be perm banned aswell.

 

I just received a 2 day ban on my ironman....But I have also gone striaght to permanent ban on previous accounts when i was caught botting. It all depends on the account I'm sure.

 

I don't think there's any set rule to 2 day banning or perm banning on anything other than gold farming.. Just depends on how lucky you get tbh. If you're caught gold farming, from past experiences, you get the perm on any accounts associated with the account(s) in question.

 

if u bot etc woodcutting u prolly get a 2 dan ban but goldfarming i belive perm ban

 

I have always found it to be a permanent ban straight off. No warnings/chances given.
