Sad and depressing to see. Not sure what can be done.

Hello, I googled my username on PlayerAuctions to find that someone impostered (now banned) me here and possibly scammed people.

Imposter here: Chaostheory17

A customer on PlayerAuctions alerted me to this when he said (denying my offer),
"Disregard that, too much negative history surrounding your name and listings."

I've 100% lost a sale due to the imposter here who is google indexed. Searching Chaostheory17 brings up the imposter here on Sythe, and when people do background checks on my PlayerAuctions name, this is what they see as one of the results.

This sucks, and feels traumatic, as I can never scam and I never will. I feel as if I have to defend myself from someone dragging my (PlayerAuctions) name through the mud.

What can be done?

It’s probably best to work on proof that you aren’t “ChaosTheory17” here on Sythe.

As a seller, you’ll always have people trying to imposter you. Make sure you keep your customers alert at all times on who you are on different platforms. I see your account is from 2016, why wouldn’t you include it in your playauctions information?

Regardless of the answer, If you haven’t already, I would start now with trying to recover your rep and possibly even changing your name here on Sythe or other platforms if you go by ChaosTheory17 normally or AID.

This is a given already, I don't use that name here. The issue is the google indexing which links that name to here.

PlayerAuctions are very harsh if you link to anywhere offsite. They will ban you for this.

PlayerAuctions won't allow me to change my username. I've begged and begged for years, they won't allow it.
