RWT Moderate "wealth removal"

I just caught a moderate RWT ban. It says removal of wealth will occur. Does this include items or is it only gold?

I have billions worth of items on my account and only 60m.

 

I have no clue, but am curious to hear what happens. Please let us know of the outcome!

Your account has been temporarily banned and wealth has been removed for Real World Trading in OldSchool. Should you continue to exhibit this behavior, further action will be taken against your account.

 

I got hit last month and they only took my gold. At the time of the ban I only had 400k in my bank but I had 200m worth of buying trade offers in the ge and they cancelled my trades and took that gold as well

 

Curious what your RWT frequency was?

Yeah pretty sure when this happened to my buddy he only got the gold removed from his account so you hopefully should be good

my assumption would be that only the amount in question that caused the ban would be removed, atleast i hope.

i got hit with a minor rwt ban, and got the same message, i had 1b of gear but they took my 220k cash stack and left the items.

 

Please inform us of the outcome

 

@Socalemt pretty lame to ask us this question and then just leave us completely hanging.

 

Selfish behavior

 

I have the same problem right now Modaret ban wealth Removal with 2.5b items and 50m+ gold I’ll let you guys know and the purchase was an Scythe so let’s see if they take items for item rwt and gold for gold rwt or they take all.

 

Update: they took my cash stack which was Lil they left my items alone in Rwt Moderate. They don’t have Joke with it anymore Watch out while you got chance don’t rwt. If you Decide to buy items rwt Even more dangerous is they will delete item for item So what you do is if you really need GP buy Gp and purchase item that you will never sell. I guess we are just lucky. Im done with rwt

 

I think the question now needs to be: who is everyone buying from?

It was mentioned in another thread to start using smaller gold sellers or people who infrequently sell.

Since you have posted in the OSRS section, from what I have seen it's only the gold. But I could be wrong on this so don't quote me.

If you ever watched the botnukes they did on the OSRS twitch stream, they actually received items too when banning them. So if this was the case and they did something similar yes it would be items too. Back on RS3 before it went over to that version, they removed wealth/lowered your stats and such at random too.

Also can confirm when I logged in my GP stack was gone. I think they just wipe both Plat tokens and GP, at least for my "minor" rwt offence.
