RWT Methods for Free Trade Era

Same here, if I start playing agian.

 

Staking average amounts at duel arena would be worth a shot. Maybe staking 1-5m the first time then staking 500k and letting the other person win. This was if jagex is keeping track of wins/losses they cant tell who is intentionally dieing. If you let the person win the money the first time then do a small sum the second time and let the other person win youd have a 50% win ratio. About average for most players.



Steps:
Account 1: Receiving Money
Account 2: Giving Money

1. Account 1 logs in at duel arena and yells"Staking"
2. Account 2 logs in about 3 minutes later and yells "Staking" Aswell.
3. The two players meet and challenge a duel.
3a.Account 2 puts up the money and account one puts up a comparable amount. I.E. Account two puts up 1m, account 1 puts up dark bow.
4. Start to fight but allow account 1 to win,
5. Account 2 says rematch
6. Regroup and stake a small amount
7. make it a close fight but allow account 2 to win,
Repeat 3A-7 as many times as needed.

Remember to calculate how much $ account 1 lost.

 

Drops instantly appear in wilderness = easy drop trade?

 

Hmm also from the FAQ the player owned house MAGIC chest now has no money restrictions, could be a way of transferring aswell, not sure if jagex would/could monitor that as easily.

Also they are planning a house partyroom style drop system in the future, that could also be used Of course, maybe if you had multiple accounts you could use in the house "competing" for the prize it could be more legit.

Once gravestones expire they can be looted so maybe dieing from a monster and then having the person recieving money loot the stone... Of course you'ld need an unpopulated but still deadly monster (mole maybe?)

 

This could work and it doesn't need to be mule for say level 3's you could go any random unpopulated monster, die, login to your other account and loot.

 

i say the grand exchange because u can virtually set any price now and you can basically just get any bulk item and put any price on it

 

I was in Mod Marks CC a few days ago and he said the following:
"Yes, old fashioned drop parties would be brought back."


By this I assume he meant the dropping of items at a place such as a POH for friends etc.

I'd say drop trading is going to be coming back.

As for the idea:
Perhaps killing a BOB holding items? (In wildy, but you wouldn't actually have to kill the user)

 

Wait, why can't you just trade the money?

 

Well say you buy 50mill from the gold seller. The gold seller hops onto one of his accs with all the gold and simply trades 50mill over to the account buying it.

A transaction like that would probably be recorded and checked, normal players don't simply give others that much money for nothing... You would probably get flagged and most likely banned for RWTing.

In smaller increments it would be fine, in the FAQ its stated amounts like 1mill are fine...

 

Oh, I see. So, giving 1mill at a time wouldn't work?

I'm not an expert, but I think smallish amounts would work (around 1mill, maybe a bit more). But most likely you would be buying/selling in much larger quantities so would need a more viable and legit cover story to why 100mill was just transfered to 2 accounts, could be staking, looting a grave, drop party, etc.

 

I see. I'm no expert either, but the simplest way seems to be staking. Just have him bet a certain amount and you bet a small amount, and make it seem real.

 

gravestones are just a (up to)1 hour safeguard

risky thing to do, would be if the accounts doing the xfer were to engage in a fight, the one giving the money would have the amount of cash on him or gear = to that amount, then have the accounts fight, intenetionally dying on one of them

 

lol if the gravestones are like that no one would bless. I would camp arma tbh and wait for some bank loot. Or go camp corp for b rings and karils sets.

 

They are like that, when they expire they get looted. Thats the sad thing- if your not with a reliable clan or group no one will bless you out of goodwill.

Ah well I guess its just like the old days but you have a 6 minute time to get back :S

I wonder with corp if the items will apear instantly when they die as there are no graves.

 

@ everyone who seems to think they can transfer via the grand exchange. You can't just put a whip in for 100k then go on your other account and offer 100k and get the whip, that's not how the g.e works. If you sell a whip to the grand exchange it will give it to the highest offer. So say some one is offering 3.5M it will be sold to them.

 

Here's what I'll be doing:

Go to an empty world, go to the wildy, drop the items/gp, have the other account pick it up right away.

There you go. =)

 

I'm not sure if anybody has posted this yet, but according to the new jagex interview, if you drop something on the ground in the wildy it will *instantly* become available to other players

 

Wonder if they will still have a way to see who picks it up and match their ip's
