RWT Methods for Free Trade Era

I used to do it all the time.
Never got caught.
I doubt Jagex has that many people.

 

Isn't selling rares to general shops very risky? I thought the general shops randomly clean the items in stock from time to time... What if it was that second you sold the rare that the store cleaned the inventory of the store :X.

 

That's why you sell an item of low value (say a willow longbow (u)) and wait for it to be cleaned off and immediately sell the rare, and have the second account buy it. It's a fairly straightforward/easy process, assuming this type of trade were to be made possible following the update.

I wouldn't trade it to the shop, they nerfed that and don't see why they would bring it back + it would be far to risky and you would have to have rares to put into the store not pure cash.

Personally I'm just going to trade it over from accounts >.< never got caught before trade limit and as if Jagex will monitor the amounts I'll be trading.

Also you could say quitting RS and giving away stuff lucky winner of my question gets (say) 100mil, and then say the question and on the other account already have answer written in and press it so their first and say to the other account that doesn't have the money "Congratz you answered first and you get all my shit".

Well ive been actually thinking about the same thing.
The staking way would be the easiest and most effecient IMO.
Im not sure how u guys have done it in the past via staking, but i think that it will be a lot less detectable if both ends put up the same amount of money to stake.
Then the gold seller would purposely lose. Making the stake look legit as both players have staked the same amount with some rules set.
This way has advantages at being less detectable but it is also easier to be scammed.
So wut i would do if i purchased gp :

- have seller trade the gold to a MM/OMM
- buyer verifies it
- buyer sends payment to seller
- seller confirms upon payment received
- MM/OMM meets buyer ingame, both stake the same amount and purposely lose. (keep staking till the requested amount is transfered as some buyers have less starting cash)

As soon as I saw that conquest game I knew that would be an amazing way to xfer, just put up a good fight in the game and who are they to say that you are RWTing : P

 

But when you sell shit to general stores it cleans it out and gets rid of all the stuff in it, and also other people could see it?

It actually worked in like 05

 

I think staking would be the best, the bigger the trade the longer you should be in a world before receiving the actual stake.
also don't add eachother just before the stake.

I'm not sure but I think Jagex's stance on friends giving each other gold/items is actually that they don't mind - If you have your other accounts added you can either get a trusted friend to log in on them for different IPs or try it yourself and just be like "Here you go buddy, I owed you before hand blahblahblah" etc.

 

I think I'm going to stick to staking. Seems like it is the safest for now.

Why would they ban someone giving someone else money? It's free trade.

Personally I'd just have two people stake and make the person getting the account win, and afterwards have the loser say stuff like "No way, I just lost XXX gp!" or something like that. Even funnier if he were to rage

 

Seems obvious, but...theres always but. They used to detect this real fast back in the day.

 

Good ideas but the way the catch you is by flagging the gold farmers gp and waiting untill he/she makes the transaction. After you've traded bam they ban you both. So technically there's no way to get around it without causing suspicion. However you can bypass it by converting the gold into items and trading that item back for cash. It's worked for me.

 

i honestly believe that direct trading will be ok for at least a while...if not that then id just have to go with old school staking

 

tbh use powerbot client and use runescape website and just trade with yourself, jagex says they dont really have any against friends helping out each other or even brothers/sisters.
