Georgia has lead armed forces into the independent state South Ossetia.
Russia, who is very close withSouth Ossetia, and who's people are mainly Russian backgrounded, and who favour Russia instead of Georgia, is not happy.

The Georgians are laying seige to the capital, Tskhinvali, and Russia - has retaliated in its own power - by sending its troops in.

To no surprise, here comes America- pikeldy pikeldy goo - they are on Georgia's side. Taking over an independent country by force - and then claiming that its acting defensively on national television? Excuse me?

I sense something more - what idiot goes out to take a peice of land, with Russia holding its hand?

At least find out more information on this war it wasnt started, by just russia thinking about world domination again. If you take a chance all war's have reasons some bad some good, in this case there is a certain location the russians are trying to get back in control of, prolly just from a fued.

Reason this has started was because Georgia was trying to claim back the independent state, South Osetia, that broke of in 1992.
This little country is backed by Russia, as the majority of the 70,000 population holds Russian passports.

This war should be stopped. As i see it russians did well to protect the other country but they r doing bad by continuing the battle and killing many georgean civilians. America didnt come into the war yet, BUsh is only telling the russians to stop.
