    Georgia vs russia

As many of you have seen on the news, Georgia was at war with Russia. While the war is in the breakaway region of South Ossetia this is really a war about national sovereignty. Georgia has been trying to diplomatically resolve this situation diplomatically for many years, but with this weeks insurgency from rebels in S.O. Georgia's patience has worn out. The truth is that Russia ignited this was by firing on Georgian troops patrolling the regional boarder with S.O. Early Friday morning Georgia raided many villages and the capital of the breakaway province in order to restore peace. The Russian "peacekeeping" force residing in S.O. opened fire on the Georgian military. Now the Russian army is fighting back and has moved tanks into the region and has dropped paratroopers on to Georgian soil. This violates Sovereignty and provokes a state of war. The Russians have also bombed civilian targets in cities as far away from the conflict zone as 200 miles. This is an act of aggression that can not be tolerated. Georgia repeatedly has offered cease-fire agreements to all sides but none have stuck. As you know Georgia is a small nation of about 4.5 million trying to deal with the the military of the largest country in the world. The Georgians, being one of the largest contributors (percentage-wise) of soldiers to the coalition forces in Iraq have recalled their 2000 troops to come fight back at home. Lets show them our support as they have shown us. The Georgians need international support, mediation, and above all an international force to intervene on its behalf. They already bombed Zugdidi and now it's completely deserted. Ukraine offered Georgia help, with the army and with the materials we might need. Now I'm Georgian and I'll truthfully say that Georgia shot first. The Russians had been killing peacefull civilians in the conflict zone and Georgia just couldn't tolerate it. I totally agree with Saakashvili, even though many thing he's crazy, he's been using brain and not brawn. The Georgian army changed their tactics 2 hours ago, the officers are clever and won't let their men just go in and fight, thus get killed. They're using smart tactics to defeat an army that has 30x the people and the weaponry. The Ukranians said "If any type of Russian ship get close; CLOSE, and not IN the Georgian border, they will have no way back and they will terminate the ship. Currently they are watching the border. Russias strongest spot is their air force, compared to Georgia of course. Their SU-24s have been everywhere, city to city, trying to terminate everything that is related to the word military. Their WAS a city called Gori, the home of J Stalin, and that's where Georgia's biggest military base was, and that's why its vanished so quickly. Georgia has an army of 137,000 and Russia has an army of 3,000,000. The facts speak for themselves. God help Georgia and keep the world safe from starting another world war, or another atomic bomb (which the vodka-lovers are in possession of).
