I think Rs is fine right now. Free trade is amazing. I've already posted about this topic, but to be honest RS is not really that bad. Why are you mad at gold farmers, they have been around forever.

 

Best update will be when they raise the combat level again.

I've been around for far to many updates. My fav are when new skills come out.

Ge was simultaneously one of the best and worst updates.

I agree with the people that said slayer. Whips were bad ass and the wild was at it's peak at that moment.

 

I'm not sure about the best update in RS, but i am sure that the worst update ever to be released by jagex was the Wilderness/no free trade update, i remember going on rs one night being able to PK etc, next day you couldn't even trade/ pk i litrally thought to myself /quit so glad they brought it back, still wouldnt be playing untill this day if they didn't

 

I think one of the best updates was summoning due to how usefull the skill is and the amount of work that went into it to keep it balanced in the game. It changed runescape alot that's for sure.

 

Elvarg being released, allowing the Rune Plate to be bought and finally worn.

I'd say that the best update was probably slayer, though runecrafting was a good one too when it came out (way back when).

 

The GE, makes the game so more efficient.

 

Godwars Dungeon. Lots of money made there.

 

More like ruined the game...just makes it easier to sell stuff. I miss having to keep typing selling "blah blah blah" or the ever famous "Bank Sale!"

OT: I liked the construction update a lot.

 

Best update was definitely the re-addition of free trade/wilderness. This brought back so many players, and it really feels like old RuneScape again.

I remember back around the time I quit and ancient magick was fairly new, aswell as the Barrows minigame and Slayer. They all came out within a year or 2 of each other and I just remember loving those updates so much and having the best time on RS back then. Can't really think of anything else really memorable at the moment. Its kinda sad actually :/

I quit a month after it came out, so I missed out on a lot

An easy way to fix the real world trading is to ban every noob who just got 100m+ without even offering anything over 1k lol.... Thats so obvious but jagex just wants their money.
