Sounds kind of stupid. Think about it, all the higher leveled players would rather do something else mostly noobs would come and it would be a major spam/lag fest. Then it would be similar to a riot and we all know what happens in those.

- if that isnt enough proof of this forum being designed for cheating i dont know what is.
- im not saying this isnt a great place to hang out & not talk about cheating / botting / macroing or w/e but this site isnt made for hanging out or legit runescape playing.
- if you are going to create this kind of gathering ofail, you should get a better forum cuz this isnt the forum to gather people who play 100% legit

 

Yeah, it was made for RuneScape cheating, but that doesn't mean it isn't for hanging out too. Half the people on the site don't even play RuneScape.

 

yeah, there are a lot of idiots on this site that would most likely start spamming that so i agree this wouldn't be a very good idea.

What I'm not understanding is why. From what I'm understanding, you're getting a bunch of people together in RS to just stand around?

 

Just because there is no reason, who cares. I don't like to be an ass but if you don't like it don't argue why I shouldn't do it, because I am anyways.

 

I have a few points to make.


1. People who do not condone the idea, stop spamming the thread with worthless posts like "This is dumb", "No-one will come" or "This idea sucks", or anything along those lines. If you don't like it, find a new thread you DO like, or at least make a useful post. Option C is get the FUCK out.

2. This is a pretty cool idea. I would definitely come, and I'd love to be a part of this. If you need any help organizing or anything like that, please feel free to contact me. I've added you on msn already.

3. This is a good idea, however there are a few potential drawbacks, including:

A) An ex-sythe member could possibly get word of this, or other anti-sythe members could find out. Such as the fellows from Rsforums.com and Rsboards.com. They would obviously show up and ruin it, spamming about how we are from Sythe and we need to be banned, we cheat, etc., etc.

I. Along the lines of this, the non-supporters from this thread itself might be spiteful and ruin our good time just for the hell of it. Believe, there ARE people like that.

B) In an attempt to gather such a large audience, most likely on a small amount of people would show up at said event. Do some serious advertising on multiple boards and try to contact a Runescape Moderator or Site Administrator to promote the event. This HAS the potential to be a huge landmark in Runescape History... but it could also fail miserably.

C) Get on msn.

i agree with this. If, you don't want to get banned just make a level 3. I fact Ofail, you should just make a rule saying that everybody must be level 3 where the same noob clothing and we just stock up on bear and hand it out like someone mentioned. If you are still scared just use a proxy. I think it will be like a fun party.

Time wise i think all we need is a time after school for everyone, since most people go to school or collage on sythe i think lol. So like...
