Runescape in 10 years?

im guessing in 10 years Runescape will either be HUGE or gone. If Jagex doesn't start making better updates then they will lose a lot of players. I believe that won't stop them, they will continue to try to make things better. In the future you will probably have to pay to play at all. There will be no such thing as "F2P". They might have something like a week long trial, but i predict there will no longer be any free aspect of the game.

i bet jagex are already working on even better graphics and other nice things. runescape is all they really have and they will do anything to make it last as long as possible.

i cant really imagine rs in 10 years though.

 

LMAO you can barely do stuff in 1 week there is no way in hell Jagex is taking out F2P if they do im so screwed.

In one year, i think runescape will probably be the same roughly. More quests/items/mini games. Runescape in 5 years, i think will be increased graphics, insane amounts of quests, New items and areas, new skills, new interface etc. Runescape in 10 years? cant even imagine it. Thats how good its gonna be

 

I think it'll have different owners, and maybe be on consoles.

I believe that they will bring out a RuneScape 3.

It wouldn't be browser based anymore, and it would be more like World of Warcraft, where you have to buy the CD, purchase membership etc.

Games like that cannot fail because of the mass amounts of profit they can spend on better server hosting (less lag) major updates and more staff.

RuneScape classic will be gone by 2018 no doubt.

RuneScape 2 will be as it is now, just a lot more quests, a few more skills, less players.

RuneScape 3 will be MASSIVE.

That's my thought on the matter.

Well MechScape is due to be released in the new future so I think as soon as that comes out RuneScape would be going down-hill because Jagex's main focus would be on MechScape.

Anyway I think rs in 10 years will b pimped out (eg. skills/items/quests/graphics it all)

It will be available on the top consoles at the time, as I belive in 10 years consoles will b able to use the net much easier and faster than 2 day (eg. can surf the net)

The max combat level will be at least 150.

All dragon items realeased (eg. short sword, pick axe it all)

Level 85 wepons and armours.

There will probably be a new MMORPG that will make RS bite the dust. It has been good for nearly 7 years... I don't seen any game lasting 17 years, to be honest.

 

this game keeps growing so who knows

 

I say Jagex is just going to fuck up everything else in 10 years.
