I think in 5 years or before they will stop updating runescape and go onto mechscape, make runescape free and keep it up so people cant send hate mail and file lawsuits

In 10 years RUnescape will be still going strong. Probably more updates. Maybe even a client instead of running on java.

in 5 years. Simple updates. Not much but lots of people.

In 1 year. The same. just added holiday events and gear. MAYBE a new skill.

 

i think in 10 years no one will be playing a shitty java game because the console games will be great like virtual reality and shit. idk maybe jagex will make the game tons better so it can compete(its good already, not saying rs sucks). either that or the day andrew gower gets a gf.

 

In 10 years Runescape will probably be the gayest game on the internet.
They will probably go even more cartoony/kids like and make the game "appropriate" for ages 10-. They will also probably have control over all RWT.

Anything can happen, really. I mean, if they introduce a new aspect to the game that will make it incredible and ten times more popular, then there's a good chance they will be around longer. However, if they keep this trend of boring/annoying/unnecessary/disliked updates, then it may not be around for another 10 years.

I think Jagex would have been bought out by Neopets
