Runescape clan recruiting section.

No one is trying to stop you from doing that. We are just telling you that, from experience and activity, starting a clan section won't induce an onrush of new members.

 

I see what you mean by having a clan section, but there's a few reasons why I think its a pretty bad idea/wouldnt work.

First off, there's already a place for clan threads. HF even has one posted, however the only time the OP(Ex-Leader of HF I think) posts on these boards is as a bump. There are communitys dedicated stricly to clanning like pure-warfare that would probably be better suited for pure/main/clan discussion.

I speak from experience when I say that multiple pure clans in one area, forum, irc, whatever it may be, leads to drama/flame wars. The amount of unecessary crap that people would post when flaming other clans about wars, fights, memberlist statistics etc. would just act as a waste of staff time with going around and infracting users and deleting posts.

Again, boards/forums like pure-community are made specificly for the sake of discussion about who's number 1, who's winning what, etc. This is a different kind of community. Yes there's a focus on runescape but that's not what these forums are about, there's a variety of sections and having a dedication for pure clans/clans doesn't seem like a proper add for Sythe.
