its interesting but i dont deem it all to be reliable evidence but!!! notice during the waterfall quest at the end when you have 6 of each of the runes put them together... its obvious 666.

 

Wish i had written the list of things i have noticed while playing RS. I can agree about the wise old man and I would also confirm that many quests have satanic or Illuminati story line... It all depends if you have some information and you have your eyes open or not . but I am sure it is there
