This is exactly the point to be argued, the illuminat is believe to be the top of the top when it comes to secret societies. Societies such as skull and cross/The Trilateral Commission are believed to be the lower individuals, such as the army has "ranks". Rappers are not believed to be apart of the Illuminati, merely apart of the spider web of secret societies controlled by the Illuminat, but just as any other system with "ranks", the shots come from the top. The Illuminati doesn't worry about rappers, until they start to expose the secretest of the secret societies. The Illuminati would do anything to protect it's secrets, and if you listen to a couple of MJ's/Tupac's last interviews they start to expose a group in power, and Tupac actually makes the "slogan" "killuminati". This, for a lot of people, makes them believe that the Illimunati had something to do with the death of these two men. And everyone can say "my house hasn't been robbed" until it happens, but then its too late, however if you were home awaiting the thieves you could be prepared.

Some people believe in the Illumati, some believe in just corrupt government. I believe in possibly a bit of both. Just from skimming through the thread I thought I would mention a couple things that maybe you guys have missed.

When I used to live in California, while visiting San Francisco I visited their major temple in San Fran (it looks nice).

As for the Illuminati, just because they are even MORE secretive than the Free Masons are (at least Free Masons have lodges and temples where they gather), does NOT mean they do not exist.

The Illuminati exist, and are a world power
The Illuminati exist, but are not a world power, the Free Masons are
The Illuminati and Free Masons exist, neither are world powers
The Illuminati and Free Masons do not exist

I argue the last two. Mostly because I argue the lack of a world power. I ask for proof that they exist as anything more than a closed group. You give me a bunch of shitty SPECULATION. The illuminati existed in the 18th century as a legitimate organization, references to them at such a time are in no way sinister or relevant to a contemporary illuminati presence. If someone references "new world order" in a speech, before the term was even coined in reference to a supposed conspiracy, it is also similarly irrelevant. Also why would a member of a highly secretive and ancient society reveal implicate themselves by referencing the name of said society? Also why would they adopt a name for themselves that the public gave them (They didn't call themselves a new world order, it was just a significant term so we dubbed them as such).

This is a interesting topic. I know for a fact that they existed in the 18th century, but now there is no direct proof that they exist. But I can't help but wonder if all the actions are controlled by them.

Over-alert people keep seeing all this "Illuminati" signs in movie, some of them might be fake, but I wonder, why are they there? They certainly look similar to many of the Illuminati signs, is it just a coincidence? Directors playing a joke? Actually the Illuminati? If so, what's the point?
