rumor about 2012

you have to think, anyone who believes this, think, do you know how chaotic the world will be 2012? the war, people thinking its the end in that year. we would basically kill ourselves over something that might not even happen. i bet the mayans did it on purpose to mess with us

ive never really heard of this, but like...someone said on the first page that there'll be wars and fires and all that, well look whats going on man, im not saying we are, im not saying we arent, im saying i dont know.

 

If this was true, people would be running about, screaming, building shelters, trying to hastily develop a ship that can travel 20 light years (to the nearest planet able to sustain life), etc. This isn't going to happen, though I even heard it on the news.
