Read pardons before you pass judgment on them.

You didn't even read his pardon before posting. What's up with that?

And then, again:

 

I heard about it from someone else and posted before anyone voted just in case, don't usually get on the PC til late

and his reply sounded like a denial, which made me think he didnt admit it

 

I appreciate the explanation, but votes can always be changed (and have been several times before) in light of new information like a ban evasion. My post probably reads a little rude, but I honestly don't mean it that way - if not fully reading pardons is a problem among the staff, which it definitely has been at times, unfairly influencing people against someone who may otherwise receive a pardon is a pretty big deal. Just some constructive criticism.

 

Well.. cant do right for doing wrong. We recently had feedback where people made it known that we should post what we know at the start of the pardon, so when I saw it I thought I had better mention it in light of that - no worries

 

Isn't it easier just to read the pardon before posting? I thought that was routine, anyway.

 

I was out at the time, didnt have time to read all of it. Was just a post in case.. I dont see the big deal really.

 

Your post seemed more accusatory rather than precautionary. It sets the tone for an entire pardon, which, as Luke stated, could weigh in on the outcome.

Just could be a tad bit more professional next time and avoid it by reading the entire pardon prior to posting.
