This really saddens me, he's talked to me before and was extremely nice.

 

Terribly feel sorry for him and his family.

I'm deeply upset by this. Known Shawn for over two years now and spoke to him almost every day for the period. I will miss Shawn a lot, even if our relationship was dubious. Shawn was always willing to help other people with personal problems, and I wish I had been able to help Shawn with his own. I thank Verts for all that she's done for Shawn. She probably doesn't see it this way, but from the way I see it, she brought a lot of happiness to Shawn's life. I apologize for not always being there and being circumstantially cynical of Shawn, but my cynicism of him is now a huge regret. Sorry especially to everyone close to him, especially Verts and the other obvious people. I'm devastated to Shawn go. R.I.P.

Really upsetting to hear this. Shawn lived relatively nearby to me and was always a great guy to talk with. Can't imagine his situation if he felt this was the only way out. RIP man, you won't be forgotten..

R.I.P Shawn. I didn't talk to him personally, but he helped me out with my problems on that support thread. It makes me feel extremely sad reading the responses of people who knew him pretty well.
