I'm pretty sure the thread says you cannot take a scammers name (e.g someone who has actively posted and may appeal)
If someone just created an account to imposter and was obviously not part of the community I don't see why it shouldn't be deleted and actually given to Bogla.

The owner of Chloe was a spambot, didn't have anything to do with the community and I was given the name because of this reason, within reason an account is able to be deleted (e.g spambots, imposters etc..)

 

Except what if the person who was attempting to impostor is a ban evader who later tries to pardon?

It wasn't "instant". Staff voted on the poll quickly, so there was no need to wait on changing the name.

The account wasn't banned for ban evasion, blackhat, or scamming, but for impostering the person requesting the name change. I don't see what's wrong with that.
