His name change was processed quickly because it's been publicly known for some time that he had wanted to change his name. It wasn't at all a surprise when he submitted the request and it was not at all a controversial name change (looking at you loyal to DA game) so it passed quickly. Has nothing to do with anyone being a higher level donor

 

There were quite a few posts requesting name changes, but I don't think they were being handled due to the port over from vb3 > xen.

However, I received a PM from @Analogue regarding Bogla's name change being expedited so quickly and realized there was about a half page of posts that weren't handled. As such, they were swiftly dealt with and apologize to all of those who had to wait.

For those who were eligible, the polls were created some hours ago.

P.S. If your name is @johng1208 you are an unlucky bro.

Mine was done in 1-2 days also, I don't think there's a priority system, just some name changes staff need to consider for longer.

 

Shin said they didn't see the other page when doing a forum transition so that explains that.
