It would just cause drama, just PM the mods and ask if they would share their modscore with ya.

Mod scores are far from the best way to accurately judge activity. It's merely a baseline that we use among other things.

I'll use SuF as an example, as he's just publicly released his logs.

Although he doesn't have high log numbers, he's actively pursuing forum structure and rule changes. He in fact heads a lot of discussions for these changes and promotes the discussion for them both in the public forums, and in the staff lounge. He's constantly chiming in on SL discussions, assisting with investigations, and much more.

Releasing modscores to the public will in the long run, do more harm than good. We'll have a bunch of staff fighting over logs. There will also be common occurrences of staff fighting over scam/dispute threads as the user who closes it is the one who gets the points, when in fact there could have been several people working on it.

This also creates instances where users will berate and harass staff members who don't "excel" per se on any given month, which will ultimately lead to arguments, malcontent, and possibly unnecessary infractions/bans issued to users who go out of their way to attack or defame said staff members.

As others have previously said. The staff are welcome to publicly release their scores as they wish. I'll never support scores as a whole going public, however.

No support from me I feel like it will probably cause unnecessary drama. If the Upper Staff feel like someone should continue to be on staff that should be good enough for all of us.

Missed your RaBE question -- It's not worth scores as it's essentially a free ban. All the research has been done and all the mod has to do is double check it (takes a couple seconds at most) and issue the ban (which already gives score)

You guys are acting like it would be the end of the world if modscores were to be released...
Why would mods fight over modscore? That makes no sense (at least to me) and is just silly and childish. Even if one or two people in the community harass a particular mod on his activity in a month, honestly who could care less? I for one would not give a fuck if someone complained that I was in "X" place and that I should work and prioritize everything in my life to be in 1st place. It's not like its "Employee of the Month" where whoever gets the highest ratings has a chance to be promoted and/or have their wages increased. We all know being a moderator on this site is a voluntary position.
This already happens, does it not?
Drama on this site is inevitable. As I said earlier, people will find even the slightest thing to whine and complain about in hopes of stirring up drama.

The admins manage staff activity perfectly well without any bitching from regular users. If someone isn't meeting the requirements then they get demoted. It's not for anyone else to decide that they deserve to be "abused and criticized" for lack of activity. This is precisely why the logs should remain as they are.

I still don't understand your motive for wanting to see mod logs other than your own curiosity.

I fail to see what benefit there would be. Mods already know if they are slacking and do not need constant reminder from the community ;)

Most of the time it is easy to see if a mod is being particularly active in their respective sections but it's also true that certain people, Frenzy for example (sorry if I'm not allowed to mention anyone) lurk and do most of their work behind the scenes where it is less visible so.. It could be beneficial in those cases.

No support from me seems like it would be just easier for you to PM the mods and ask for their mod score.

Mod scores aren't an accurate way to see activity.
The third month of my Support moderating I closed and moved well over 1500 threads and I deleted a few too, I was also extremely active answering people's questions etc and was on for 5 hours + a day. However that month I had one of my lowest mod scores.
I try not to do Scam Reports as I'm not much of a trader, so I often have to ask market mods or Globals for advice on some reports to check if something is legit or not. As for spam reports, the amount of mods in a section is designed so that we all get to do some spam reports, but when we are not on, another mod will take care of them, so they done fast and efficiently. I sometimes do other things that help my mod score, but mainly when there are no spam reports for me to do.
Those of you who are active and report posts and stuff a lot, are normally the ones who praise us, as they see a part of how much work we do and they know we are still catching the threads and posts that they don't manage to report.

    tl:dr
If a mod is slacking, we'll be booted by admins. Nuff said.

This is pretty much what it boils down to. Most admins have all been sectionals/globals at one point or another so we have a good idea of what qualifies as inactive. Trust our judgement ^_^

Staff activity is measured by many things. Discussions can be just as important as doing reports. Scores are nice but also you can get a high score in as little as 3 days if you push really hard.

If the mods are doing bad, the admins will boot us off staff.
There isn't really much more to it.

This suggestion is denied. The admins job is to worry about staff activity and we will remove those who do not perform. If mods want to however they can release their own scores.
