Report a scammer thread change.

This suggestion will be in 2 parts. The top part is my current issue, the bottom part is my suggestion for the fix to prevent this B.S. from occurring to innocent people.

Tl'dr: look near the bot for the suggestion.

My issue:

So recently I've been a victim of YousuckV2's bad digging. What this means is he tried to match an ip audit from a public place, come up with some theory of his own and make up a story to try and use against me that claims I did something I didn't.

Since he posted this in the ''report a scammer'' section it's ruining my rep and preventing business. A mod hasn't looked at the report and it's been there for several days now. It's visible to everyone, and I even posted a reply with explanations to everything he claimed.

This effects not only me, but anyone else who has something like this happen when in reality they're innocent.

Suggestion:

I suggest an update to the report a scammer thread be made. Threads created will not be visible until a moderator approves it like the pardon. Either that or, the thread must be read by a mod and/or have a reply or resolution before being visible to non-staff. There is no reason to tarnish players names and make people feel sketched because someone did some bad digging on them. That's unfair, and IMO not needed.

 

So you're saying legitimate scam reports should sit in a queue while people continue to scam until the report is approved and/or handled? No. Denied.
