I know there are donors etc but!!

People who rent out max mains maybe have to deposit like say 50 m 100m -200m etc?

And then have a icon on there name saying verified trust up to 50m because they have 50m deposit you can get back if they scam?

To avoid customers scamming put in big bold righting you must video while you stake if you would ever like to make a report.

Ive seen alot people get scammed on max rentals recently and it seems to be a free for all.

 

Barriers to entry in the market won't happen. Alot of problems with this idea like - who holds the money and what if that guy scams? The value of BTC / Runescape Gold fluctuates alot also.

Donor status isnt a sign of trust; alot of new members need to learn that - trust is gained in vouches. Generally speaking if you rent from someone who has alot of positive feedback you'll be okay - paying the extra 1m per hour is worth not losing the gold on the account in the event of a scam imho.

 

That is a fair point, but what i was thinking you could leave people who cant afford the deposit and leave them un-verified and then people take the risk onto them self.

I would think that when you like to get verified make the deposit with a omm who hold its or like sythe vault or something?

Like to get verified same you do with boosting prove you can do it, prove your accounts i.e logins to make sure not on blacklist etc?

 

Does seem pointless though; in the event of a scam what happens? It's difficult to prove if the scam actually happened and gold was lost to the customer - in the case of false reports the "verified" members could lose their bond with the site etc.

 

Thats why i said you have to video the whole thing, Say if the 50m verified renter scams and you can prove it you will get that 50m he deposited.

if the 100m verified scams 100m you get that.

So you would only risk what they are verified for

 

Not gonna happen, things like these been suggested many times, people just need to be less greedy for that extra 1m like dieze said so they don't lose it all. Or as i like to say "jews pay twice"

 

I understand but you all act like trusted people dont scam quit.yet you say paying extra 1m will not get you scammed??? why would it?

Sorry if people have suggested it but just seen a lot people get scammed

 

This has been suggested before and denied.

It's a free market. Having barriers like this will not happen. Renters are free to pick more reputable people to rent from.
