Remove the 'SCAR' forum

[the_dealer]

SCAR is a dead coding language (in my opinion), but most of all the forum is dead. I've seen one post in the past day from some person just gaining a bit of post count, however apart from that, nobody really contributes to it.

For me, it's just a bit more scrolling down to get to the 'RaM' forum

What are others' thoughts on this?

[oxodium]

Support.
It is a rather dead forum.
The last post was yesterday from somebody posting in the wrong forum...
One of the threads has 387 views and 0 replies, the question is ' what is scar'.
Taking no replies to mean of all the people that viewed the thread, not when knew what scar was.

That or they were too lazy to answer

[SuF]

There hasn't been a point to the Scar forum in a very long time.

[Unknown283]

I support. I haven't been here long, but it appears as if nobody is even actively contributing to the forum.

[the_dealer]

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought SuF.

[mill3n]

Support, no one uses that stuff.

[DMR]

It should be replaced with something similar or completely removed. Support.

It could be replaced with RSBot.net but then that would make think that auths are allowed since there is a forum for it. Maybe we can put Powerbot? Probably a bad idea, Idk, you tell me.

[JohnK]

If it's bothering you that much you can just collapse the whole section. I personally don't care if it's there or not, if it still holds some purpose then it isn't hurting anyone leaving it there.

[Lifetree]

No support. If you're going to remove the SCAR section the at least replace it with something equal. In this case, I believe a great example would be Simba: https://www.moparisthebest.com/smf/index.php/topic,456711.msg3342612.html#msg3342612

[WeRnIE]

Support, not active sections should be removed.

[DG4L]

Support. Too much scrolling for me as well lmfao

[Skills Mate]

I support, I think it should be replaced with a section just called Botting and you could put all different bots in sub fourms, such as powerbot, rsbuddy

[Noam]

Support. This should be replaced with a section on Botting specific Java, and the powerbot and RSbot APIs and the like

[Kodak]

Yea, I support this.

[Clashfan]

It really should be replaced with a forum for java bots.

It really should be replaced with a forum for java bots.

This, but not only java, should be Bots, and not only RS... general macroing of games and cheats.

[SuF]

It really should be replaced with a forum for java bots.

There was an RSBots section for awhile and a general macroing section was pushed at one point.

There was an RSBots section for awhile and a general macroing section was pushed at one point.

RSBots was more popular than the Scar section in that moment, you and I know it.

I'm pretty sure it's all up to Sythe, I think he wants to keep all the programming forums?
