Remove the IRC Lounge {Read it All}

Are you out of your fucking mind? Are you implying that IRCops (services admin and above ONLY, might I add) intend to steal passwords and scam via the IRC?

Lets look at who has access to the spy power:

1. Shawn (former global mod)
2. Filefragg (admin still, right?)
3. Shin (current global mod)

These are people we can know and trust. I suggest you gtfo for good. And I mean FOR GOOD.

It isn't whether you can trust the person them self, but rather the people who are willing to pay a price, whether it be money, or just being close friends with them.

Like I said, I respect all of the opers of the IRC, but you can't really trust anybody, even trusted members of sythe. Just look at some people who've been through this site who have fucked up and screwed over a lot of people here.

Now, I agree that people should use different passwords for sythe and the IRC. However, he's not saying ban the users, or take any action against them. He's simply saying if Sythe claims to not be associated with the IRC in any way, why do we have a section about it?

It is up to the staff, and even if you are active in the IRC doesn't mean your get a mod position... At no point do i ever support scamming (you can ask anyone who knows me) but the fact of the matter is, if your an MM and your dumb even to have the same passwords, then its your own stupid fault, and you shouldn't be an MM in the first place. If you take away the lounge and everything else, your going to get flooded with all the "unban me etc" relating to IRC. Deacon, i see your points, however i still see no "evidence" of your "claims".
