So I used elderado and I think the fact that the seller traded me 6 times with 6 different accounts is what got me. I've never have had issues with chicks.

They literally just remove coins, not sure if they remove plat tokens (osrs) but they do not take items

 

In RS3 they take spirit shards, so i assume they would take tokens as well, they also cleared any "Buy" GE offers i had

 

How likley are you to get banned perm after a 3 day?i made the mistake of buying gold on my alt in a ftp world and trading it to main on the same ftp world. rookie mistake lol but after my 3 day which was in october how long should i wait to get more gold? also they only took the gold i had left. 35m out of the 200m i bought.

 

Hello all, got banned for RWT minor 2 days ago. Account comes back tomorrow. Bought 300m on two occasions within 2 weeks and didn’t see the warning in my message center. Who else got a minor ban? Did you or did you not get your wealth removed? Please let me know! I will be sure to update you guys tomorrow morning regardless

Who did you buy from? What level was the account that sold the gold? Was it mems? etc.

Hey, not sure if this is a coincidence, but I was given the exact same ban, like at the exact same time.


I purchased 100m every other month on Eldorado from the cheapest seller for about 8 months before this happened. Usually met in a F2P world, in Lumby, and were always lvl 3 characters.


Total bank assets were about 1B, thus, 400m from RWT and 600m from bossing. Likewise, I only had 30-40m in actual GP, so I'm looking forward to seeing how Jagex handles this.


Also if anyone has some advice for RWT strategies Id love to hear them.

So, I just got a 'warning' for RWT, thing is though, Im pretty sure they are catching me for a gold buy from a number of months ago, and not my most recent ones.

Explanation: yeah im guilty as shit of buying gold over the years, no question. I work too much and don't have as much time as ide like to grind, but I love high end PVM content.... I just got back into RS about 3 months ago and of course my lazy ass bought some gold to kick things off. I always used 4rsgold which hadn't failed me before. Well, initially I was a little paranoid, so for my first 2-3 gold buys for 30-40$ each, I had it go through one of my old alt accounts, and then traded it to my main.

Then I hit my greedy phase, and I wanted....more lol ... a FSOA specifically... and maybe an Ice dye to go with it..... *eye roll* Anyways, rs4gold only sold in increments up to like 1.5B, so I went looking around and found Chicks, which was just going to sell me the FSOA and dye out right, no dicking around on the trade world trying to find them. They made me jump through some serious hoops verifying my payment method, so I figured If I was going through the effort, I was going to be lazy and not include my alt as a middleman (bad lazy me, I know.)

Fast forward to today, I just got my warning.... but my alt did too. So yeah, Im pretty sure my warning is like a month delayed, so my hunch is they just 'busted' a 4rsgold seller account, likely in a STING or something, and then dolled out bans / warning to anyone who has interacted with that account.

So TL;DR 4rsgold seller accounts are likely compromised, but I haven't been burned for Chicks yet apparently.

 

Yo sorry to comment on an old thread but did you by any chance look at the offense and the evidence they provide? I recently got a 3 day ban and had the following message;

Your account has been temporarily banned and wealth has been removed for Real World Trading in OldSchool. Should you continue to exhibit this behavior, further action will be taken against your account.

You said you were concerned about wealth being removed, and that's what is said in the message they provided - did you also get this message along with the 3 day ban you received?

 

I had received the same warning and a 3 day ban on both main and alt after buying admittingly too much too quickly, 11b within 2 weeks on an aged and we'll played on alt. Bought on alt and transferred to main same days of buying (bought in 3 transactions). I Had 6.5b in shards left after buying some inverted capes. They removed the shards, but left the 450m in gp in the coin pouch on the main.

Is it safe to buy items instead of gp on that same alt now or should I buy another lvled up alt to buy items on and then transfer items to my main after a few days or weeks to sell for shards?

 

I have a 3 days bann too with osrs => it says "wealth has been removed" Not sure if it was also with the others there

 

Did you guys get a warning before temp ban? Just received a warning today. Not sure if they will start tracking all my trades now
