Recover Google account

Does anyone have any experience recovering a Google account?

I have an account that I know both the email and the password of. Unfortunately Google requires me to verify first by sending me a verification text message. The number connected is an old number that I no longer have access to. Google has nu support at all.

I don't even really need access to it, I just want the info of the account destroyed.

Any help is welcome! I'll also tip if I can get it back/destroy the data on it with your help!

If you still have an old phone that was at some point logged into that account and also had the sim in it at some point.
If you go here when on that phone and click the "other ways to sign in" after inserting the email it might give you the sign in confirmation notification (not sure if this is an android only feature).

If you want you can also try the Google support on "Google One" and see if they can help you. It requires a subscription but the first month is free depending on which tier you choose.

This has happened to me before, if what you need is the number for google to send you the message, you can ask your telephone company to sell you the same number (sometimes they assign it to another person for discontinuing its use) if you are the owner original then there will be no problem, also in the google security options you can enter without verification in most cases and (the page refers to https accounts.google or something similar) if the case is that they assigned it to someone else you can try calling and explain the situation, maybe it will help

I need this too. I have cryptocurrencies linked to a gmail account that I have been trying to access since 2015.

I tried this but they say they cant. Its not in use atm, tried to contact the number as well.

No matter on what device I log in (incl the phone that was once linked to it) they continue to ask for a text verification :s

I wonder if it's worth it to write a bot to guess the 6 digit code. Would be a 1/1,000,000 chance to guess it correctly, but could have it run 24/7.

But I presume they have some measures to counter that

 

The funny thing is that the gmail login is an outlook email. I even have the outlook email but it can't be used to verify myself. I have all the damn info of the account, just not the phone number. Sadge

Try google forums? If I remember correctly people actually get proper help there.
