Recover Google account

If you still have an old phone that was at some point logged into that account and also had the sim in it at some point.
If you go here when on that phone and click the "other ways to sign in" after inserting the email it might give you the sign in confirmation notification (not sure if this is an android only feature).

If you want you can also try the Google support on "Google One" and see if they can help you. It requires a subscription but the first month is free depending on which tier you choose.

 

This has happened to me before, if what you need is the number for google to send you the message, you can ask your telephone company to sell you the same number (sometimes they assign it to another person for discontinuing its use) if you are the owner original then there will be no problem, also in the google security options you can enter without verification in most cases and (the page refers to https accounts.google or something similar) if the case is that they assigned it to someone else you can try calling and explain the situation, maybe it will help

Try google forums? If I remember correctly people actually get proper help there.
