Ugh, in my honest opinion, from the information that is provided in your report, that really should not have been a ban.

An attempt to scam should not qualify for an actual scam on the matter that the scam could end up following short and the person playing the con could rescind the deal. You never know what really happened... that person could've have really logged out at the very moment because of parentals, etc. It's happen to me before, does that make me a scammer?

Really, not the best of job, though it was a judgment call. Considering the fact that evidence #2 was more sufficient than what initially triggered the ban, I do not support.

As for his activity, I've never seen him post outside of the gold market and rarely answering spam reports.

 

But, he has done a great job on this report, since no one logs off when hes doing a trade or it wouldnt be legit, unless the trader who knows ur trusted wouldnt report you at all, so Roy i think ur taking this from your point of view since ur the one thats trusted and if u log off during a trade everyone will obvs know its cuz of a problem

 

Right, you assumed I banned him solely based on the conversation, which is not true. There were multiple reports on the guy which had enough proof to have him banned 100 times over. I've been weeding out scammers long before you even joined Sythe.

 

Sorry m8, as I stated.. my opinion was based on solely on the report and evidence that he gave

I am not offending or mean anything offensive this way , but i was were you are right now.

I USED to be a mod in another black market ( my countries ). Was a constant report a scammer section mod and banning + helping people. At first they said i was the best mod.

Once people started to Spam and i infracted em , i gained enemies , more haters etc. I left the forum since i got no appreciation whatso ever ... Ofc the admins / mods still respect me aslong as most Gurus , but overall to the reuglars , im not welcome because i did the right thing.

So i hope this doesn't happen to you

 

Indeed, it's just puzzling/slightly amusing how these threads pop up. I don't have a problem with them, but again believe people should try and focus on congratulating other staff (too).

As I have justified, what someone deems suspicious, might not apply.

Let's say you ([N]ick) are dealing with a new member... Right when he sends you the product, your entire town's power goes out. You have no way of communicating and power is restored hours later.. How fair is that? Would you get banned for that?

There are always circumstances in which the rules can be flawed accordingly to the situation. Anything can happen at any given time, that rule is just a big flaw when it comes down to it.

Suspiciousness is just so subjective that it flaws the entire infraction and ban system (with exceptions of course).

 

When it is someones job to handle little jobs like banning people, do you need to congratulate them?

 

R2P is great, <3 him.

 

R2Peasent is a good mod. Seen him around the theads and RSP sounds like a nice person.

He is not even doing his great job, I try to sent him question about RWT in rs but he never reply, in his MSN too. He is the most lously Market Moderators in sythe, at least Skele_Master reply my message but may be he is busy, so he may not reply. But for him, he is online but just simply ignored my message. But others do.

 

meodows is right r2 does almost nothing and if you message him and its not about buying something or anything that will help him in anyway he will NEVER message you back.

 

I can never get a hold of him via PM's or via MSN.

Thanking someone and giving them admin powers just because they ban someone is ridiculous. This is nothing against R2, it's just a poor excuse to admin someone.

R2 keeps telling me hes going to send me my money but yet wont ever respond to me unless i post on his thread ( for like 100th time ) and he says talk to me on msn. i send countless messages and get no responce... Hopefully he will today or tomorow... hes a good guy though ive done alot of trades before... hes never let me down .

 

Though I havn't bought anything from him, I attempted to (My PayPal wasn't verified), he was the friendliest person to help guide me through it.

 

hmm that means he is very selfish, tell me if he decided to scam you.

 

R2 is an extremely busy guy, not just in the virtual world. He most of the time is not at his computer and is why he will not respond for hours at a time. Just have patience and all will prevail
