Scientist are researching in quantum teleportation, quantum teleportation is transporting matter from one location to another. Quantum teleportation is possible in theory, but still remains science fiction till proven otherwise. I'll explain how quantum teleportation is possible. Everything is made up of matter, and matter is made up of electrons, neutrons, and atoms. Scientist have proven that everything is made up of energy. An electrical pulse could possibly influence the matter, therefore making teleportation possible.

If quantum teleportation was possible then we could purchase products over the internet instantaneously, also there would be no need for vehicles. Instant transportation!

You also need to know that heat is also a main by product of energy, thus being another set back. We would most likely (in particle form) lose all of our particles that make up the liquid side of things in our bodies, which in turn would kill us.

It will take all the energy on the planet to teleport a tiny amount of matter. Therefor isnt practicle.

I already stated this in a similar topic. There would be no way you could teleport a living thing to where it would be worth it. Simply being. we are always constantly decaying, reproducing cells, and evolving etc. It would be absolutely impossible to split our bodies into the basic atoms transmit it to another place and put them back together the same way. It would simply be unstable and we would most likely turn into a brain dead moron. We can't even think about taking apart things down to atoms and transporting it when we don't even know all there is to do with our body (such as the brain for instance)
