Yes I have played both but im a PC gamer anyway so they are both shit compared to PC.

Like I said, some people might hate the PS3 exclusives. I dislike most of them, God of war is the only reason I'd buy a PS3(that and free online)...
I still think the X360 wins in exclusives for me.

They both have pros and cons..

 

Just go to your local gameshop or check out friends machines. Try them both out and see which one you fancy more. Look at the game selection of what is going to be released over the next year and decide which ones you would prefer.

I personally have both ps3 and 360, I like the ps3 a lot more. I constantly use the Blue Ray player. I don't find xbox's online experience any better except you may get a quicker match made for in some games. I have a friend that turned his ps3 into a linux box which I thought was really cool.

I also like ps3 for the games that will be coming out in 2011. There are a lot of nice games that will be coming out that will be exclusive to ps3 that just look sick. DC Universe Online is going to be great fun.

 

Well in my perspective, although the 360 is cheaper the quality of the gaming is better. What I mean is, if your going to be playing and CoD games.. It's like campers paloozy. On ps3, in almost every game its camping. I think 360, you pay more, but you get more. Also, what kind of games are you in to? What are you going to get...

 

In all honestly i love little big planet. It didnt get all those awards for nothing. Its such a simple game but its endless fun, millions of different levels , and thousands of different outfit combinations.

Also online is free which is great

I like bayonetta and Resident evil 5 but they are on both consoles anyway.

Uncharted 2 is great fun also =)

Not true.
On any FPS shooter there are more campers and noobtubers on 360.
Dont tell me otherwise because this is real and I am not making this up myself.

 

I like the 360 more. Dont like the playstation cpu and I think that most games that are made for both games are better on 360.

 

I prefer the 360 because a large majority of my friends play it where as very few of my friends play the PS3.

what ever platform which has more of your friends on it, would be more of a better choice since you wont be playing alone

honestly i own a 360 i love it but ps3 is also good but i have no friends on ps3 so i didn't buy it.

 

I have a 360, they are really great, I had mine for about a year or two without having to send it in because of the red ring. Xbox has a lot of exclusives and its got many GREAT first person shooters. Gears of War, Fable, Borderlands, Halo, and Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom. Those are the Xbox only games I have, I'm not sure if PS3 has fable though. They are all great games. I mod with a transfer cable and all that, with ps3 there aren't a lot of thinking you can mod as far as I know. I vote Xbox though, but its your choice.

 

Playstation3, looks better, games are better and the joysticks are way better, does not look so stupid (these colourful joysticks looks so childish).

If you want to play shooting game online, do this on PC and save the money, console is used to escape from PC, to enjoy it with your friends, if you are not an online shooting nerd - buy a Playstation 3 (I do not have anything against shooting online, it is really cool, but you need to feel the other advantages of a console, playing online is only an extra bonus).

360's online play is in total domination, so therefore it wins by a landslide.

 

ive had both, i like the 360 better, it supports multiplayer better, as far as being able to be in chats with people on different games, microsoft pays to get the exclusives before ps3 so thats a perkl.

 

I've found that on 360 you get alot more shit talk online(even though I've only played halo on it)

Also ps3 can use face book and just use the Internet in general (I sometimes
log on sythe via it)

Get 360 if your up for talking to a bunch of 8 year olds.

 

360 for the hardcore/online gamer and Ps3 for the casual/mates over to play.

 

Well if you are totally in love with good graphics, and only good graphics, get a PS3. If you love to save a couple dollars a month to sacrafice having fun while playing online, get a PS3. If you like to have fun with decent graphics and great games, get a 360.
P.S: people who are posting about the 100$ wireless attachment for 360, most people who would buy a 360 now would get the slim, as it barely costs more, and has more options.
P.S.S: Kinect has also just came out, and it completely destroys Playstation Move.
