Proxying help

NOt sure if this is allowed, so if it isn't then this can be closed and what not.


I just need help connecting to a proxy. I have a proxy server to use and everything, just don't know how to connect to it.

 

IE

Netscape (version 4.7 or later is recommended)

Firefox (version 1.0.2 or later is recommended)

If one of the proxies ips do not work just try another one, not all of them are up all the time. In the list of ips it is "IPort" so make sure that you enter them right.

 

1. Click the Tools Menu.
2. Click Options.
3. Select General in the upper left column.
4. Select the Connection Settings button.
5. Select the Automatic Proxy Configuration URL radio button.
6. In the text box enter http://www-proxy.cis.yale.edu
7. Click OK on the Connection Settings window.
8. Click OK on the Options window.
9. Close Firefox.
10. Open Firefox.

you can't even do those steps....skater can you explain on msn or aim? ;/

 

Just go to proxy.org and choose one.
