I've noticed that because rsgp has become so accessible, the prices will constantly drop.

I believe in the next 5 months people will be selling for 0.4-0.3c per mill haha.

Phats will rise to like 6-7bill in a year-2 years.

Wrong section bud, try market lounge :)

Also I agree only because goldfarmers and mass botting. If JaGex goes harsher on bots, gp will rise back up.

Yup, but its just inflation - its not like the people buying the rsgp are better off.

4-5 years ago when phats were in the 100m-200m range and rsgp was like $2-3 it would cost you $300 or so for 100m. Now its 100m for $80 but phats are 1b+ so your no better off at all. The only thing buying mills at a cheap price is good for are things like godswords, arma, bandos, etc.

Will not go down so much, if Jagex would kick the botters out, everything would be okay.

    Mod wanabee over here ^

Anyways, botting will never stop. Botting gives people opportunity to do actual things. I like botting because i can actually enjoy the game and pk rather than sit there and cut trees for hours on end lol

Yes they will keep going down due to inflation but I am sure eventally they will go back up when jagex cut down on botters ect.

Jagex does not have the resources to put a dent in the amount of botters there are in runescape.

LOL because Jagex is worried about real world trading prices getting low so they can take action? Jagex couldn't give a shit how cheap RSGP is, they don't support RWT and never will, I'm sure if they knew botters were reducing the RWT price of GP then they would become even more lenient on them.

I second this! Botting allows me to have a life, but enjoy the game at the same time.

On topic, as stated above, it's inflation. Items are rising in price, as more money goes into the game.

If jagex were to release 1000 more phats of each color into the game, it would lower the cost of gp?

Oh dear, you have no idea on how the economy works...

More demand for the item = higher price

Less demand for the item = lower price.

So yes in theory your correct on RSGP getting cheaper, but i can see it getting much cheaper then $0.50 as it still takes quite a while to bot 1m, and i heard the frost dragons bot has a high ban rate.. >_<

The price of RSGP is contingent on circulation.

The More RSGP in circulation in relation to supply and demand of the items in circulation, the less the price of RSGP.

If 1 trillion RSGP got banned from the game, it would be removed from circulation, and you would see an increase in the price of RSGP.
If 100 phats got unbanned from the game, it wouldn't be an increase in circulation, until they were sold in the market; at which point, the price of RSGP would go up, as the circulation in relation to supply and demand of an item has changed.

The market is very complex, it's like a very very very big equation with many variables. Change a, and ,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,j,k,l will change.

Frost drags bot can easily make 10m p/h on a few accounts running the same time, an making 4$ p/h botting is epic tbh.

I can see gp going for 30-40c in time, bots make everything cheap. <3

I always wondered if botting for $4 an hour is better then actually holding a job in those less fortunate country's ?

Like i remember in Mexico when i went over there i think i was getting 11 pesos per dollar ? And remember hearing that on a good week the taxi drivers get 400 pesos...

Anyways why do you care if rsgp is .30 / .40 because either way everyone is happy rsgp sellers just merch and then its even cheaper for buyers to buy >.>
