Gold prices by end of summer..?

I've basically been gold farming 24/7 for quite a while (I quit a garbage job about 6 months ago and have been able to make enough $ gold farming to not have a job for the past 1/2 year, which is honestly a blessing after having such a trashy job for 4 years.)

I noticed many websites are starting to only pay about .6/m as of now. I'll probably continue & make enough $ until prices are as low as .35-.40/M.

How long do you all think we have until gold reaches these prices? A few months.. possibly a year? Any possible chance we'll see a rise in the price of gold or are prices completely down-hill from here?

    Thanks for any input!

If they implent the coin pouch which takes 10% from the stake gp (not sure if this idea got scrapped or not, haven't played in a while), which will be huge gold sink and gold value will most likely increase a bit.

now im curious how much gold ur making to sustain at .35-4 per mill haha, but i cant see it dropping too too much, there will eventually be some for of sink that isnt a horrible idea implemented, just waiting for someone to propose one.

Thanks for all the replies! I will not disclose exactly how much gold I'm exactly making, but it's definitely enough to pay for everything I need ;)

Hopefully the price doesn't drop much below .6/M for a while, (not working is honestly great, I probably only put about 30 mins/day into my gold farm by hand, rest is automated.) The longer I can go without working another job that I'll probably hate, the better it is for me.

Around 0.5 i think, it seems that no update can rise the prices. Moneymaking became too easy with vorkath and revenants etc.

Yeah I'd say it wouldn't drop to .35-.40 for a while, hopefully I can get through another 6 months xD It seems like RS3 stabilized at about .16-.20/m for buying prices, I might switch over just simply because I'm pretty sure you can make up to 5m-6m/Hr per account on RS3 o_O

Yeah as of now it seems in a few months its will be around the .40-.50 range unless Jagex plans to add more money sinks into the game.

If they add a staking tax like they suggested it could be a huge moneysink making the GP rise but i wouldn't bet on it

End of summer retail price will be $.65/m probably.

The price has been steady in the 70s for awhile.

I don't think gold prices will change by much, if anything I think it'll go up with all the measures Jagex has been taking lately to minimize RWT.

more gold/person in the game= lower prices. If Jagex can actually get more people playing with mobile and reduce the amount of gold via duel arena tax they may be able to bring prices up a bit. But I would estimate if odd staking is no longer viable for people after this update we will see 100-500b spewed into the market resulting in a big drop. My 2 cents

You're assuming the supply will effect price more than demand.

I dont think this is true, the people coming from mobile has the potential to pull prices up to near $1/m I think. It definately won't be instant however, and will depend on jagex holding onto players after the hype.

Also xers sold alot of gold. After the update killing them, they will likely sell, so in the short term they will decrease the price (increased supply) but long term they won't be buying or selling, leading to decreased supply, along with the tax will boost gold prices even more

Um, what do you mean. It has nothing to do with 'assuming supple will effect price more than demand" If there is more supply there is less demand, if there is less demand there is more supply. lmao

you think mobile will increase the player base 60%? because thats what we would need to get prices to $1/mil.

the odd staking thing I agree with and is reflective of what I said. the drop from odd stakers will be short term, but it will still be a massive amount of circulation that is currently not circulating among actual players.

You said with more supply and more players, price will go down. This means that supply increase is more than demand increase. You're wrong about supply and demand lol

Also I think they will ramp up banning of rwters which means the unloading of go will be less than you think.

Anyway, we will see in a few months
