I never really knew how the scam took place (n4no explained it but at the time my english wasn't that good).

Why not move from Skype entirely?

 

We would have the same problem with any messaging service.

Why not Sythe create an instant messaging service like Facebook or Skype? And you can see their profile picture (if they have one), and when you click on them, it goes to their profile to see if they're the real person they are talking about.

 

This is in the suggestions page, the problem is mainly around who would write it, also do you really think it's safe putting bank details up on a black market site? (Don't get me wrong this site is secure, but just like any site's ddosing/hackings occur)

Just wanted to say, thank God for this thread. I almost got scammed on skype earlier by a imposter of The Black Tux, I asked him to pm me on sythe and he refused to do so, thats when I knew. Thanks again!
