Predictions on Stock Market After COVID-19

What do you guys think of what is going to happen to the stock-market after COVID-19? For the past few weeks, it has seen its greatest decline but for the last week, it has seen its upside. Many people believe that we have not hit the bottom yet but there are conspiracy theories that the feds is pumping money into the stock market to prevent it from further crashing.
Currently, COVID-19 cases are still rising especially in the US and cure has not been found yet. However, the stock market seems to be doing okay when it has not completely bottomed out. In fact, it has seen gains instead of massive dips that many people predict. We are facing huge unemployment rate, loss of jobs and loss of businesses but the market is still somewhat okay. What do you guys think?

 

L shaped recovery, stagflation

 

Very simple, whatever is not needed now will go down and whatever is in demand will naturally rise in price. Having said this, economy will go back up to normal this is just unexpected downtime.

Federal Reserve injections and monetary stimulus coming from all angles will help prop things up. However, if we reach another wave of COVID-19 severity, then the market can get worse. Once this is all said and done, which can take as long as it needs and is tough to predict, I don't see any reason why markets can't continue higher. That can take 1 month or 100 months. The market is a dynamic phenomenon and needs to be digested as such.

Essential items will rise while non-essentials will take a hit and recover over time. When that time is however is another story.

Funny looking at this post 2 months on. Whilst people were initially suggesting an L-shape, (or even a V-shape), it looks like what we got in reality is more of a T.

I don’t foresee the economy starting to recover until the end of 2020 or early 2021. It’s hard for me to see the economy recovering before that when our testing and response has been lamentable. Regardless of programs like PPP, a v-shaped recovery isn’t likely since many businesses will fail, and jobs will be permanently lost. The economy isn’t going to reopen all at once and consumers won’t change their behavior instantaneously (resume prior COVID-19 behaviors like nothing happened), so this will be a gradual process until a vaccine is developed.

 

Don't bet against the fed. Asset prices will probably continue to rise in dollar terms for quite some time but savers will get wiped out due to the devaluation of the dollar.

it is difficult to predict, but one thing if it is true, cryptocurrencies will continue to be a very good alternative to the current economy. Many people are saving in this currency, in my case i also plan to save in cryptocurrencies since the value of the currency of my country is weak. i plan to create token on MintMe platform for free and start with the entrepreneurship and monetize it. I don't even know what to say about it. Some national currencies must me fallen or will fall. I have often tried to predict the growth of the dollar against other currencies, in particular usd to baht. I visit Thailand every year and have business there so it's important for me to predict market values. I also use exradar services here when it's time to exchange usd if someone is interested.
