It's odd because he never listed that UID anywhere before, but I can see that this UID lines up to him as his Sythe Discord is linked there: Screen capture - 3b1e86815e900ed39453386c7635c464 - Gyazo.

Also @Jamal Toepfer can you provide proof that you paid him? I see that he said sending $570 in the conversation, but I'd still like to note that. You can blur your RSN. If you could include the RSN/email of the scammer for future reference that'd be good to note.

 

His uid was listed there but I didint think to get the actual screenshot of the trade. His RSN was l0v0s

 

I meant his UID was advertised 698852240437280839 in his threads: [Donor] [Vouched] SELLING MAXED 50 Attack Pure / Fully Quested / INFERNAL CAPE, but there's proof that lines up to him so you're fine. As for the other part do you mind including a screenshot of the conversation where you paid him out with proof that he mentioned that RSN?

Hiya, sorry to not respond earlier was celebrating a birthday of a flatmate.

I had a large cash stack on my account I traded this guy with, but luckily it was platinum tokens. Right before sending the PayPal I double checked and he had declined the trade :/

P.s. Literally no reason to scam $500

What happened:

- User got in touch to sell some gold
- We set up the trade, sends me his PayPal email
- I'm currently in the toilet at mine doing this trade btw, flatmates are drunk bc it's one of their birthday
- On mobile I see the trade screen close, but didn't have the top chat bit open (go on mobile so you will see).
- I swipe to my PayPal, put in details etc.
- Luckily double checked, logged back in, saw no gold in invin
- Didn't have time to deal with it, and really thought it was a cheeky attempt but that would be the end of it
- Wake up hungover as fuck with this

 

Nope you confirmed it in text after i traded you the gold. Theres no reason for you to have ghosted as soon as we did the trade, you never even responded mentioning me decline the trade.

 

Not at all. The trade window closed, I opened PayPal and put in your details ready to send. Luckily I doubled check the acc before (could have charged back anyway you know) and it was as it was before. Not sure what you stand to gain from this?

 

Bro we both know the trade went through, you gave me a fire staff and iron armor. You said you were sending it to my paypal in dm and told me to vouch, then you ghosted me and blocked me when i tried to reach out to you on discord via an alt. Just do whats right

Note on 4: he did have the trade screen open for like legitimately 5 minutes as he was checking my UID etc. so I lost concentration

@Cakes You can't just ghost the user and proceed to make a claim like this. Whatever you claim happened doesn't matter as that's your word. What happened in the conversation is proof. You confirmed the trade went through, and you told him you were sending the payment (which you didn't and proceeded to ghost him). Please pay out @Jamal Toepfer and have him confirm here once you've done so.

 

It was my mistake for not checking the trade go through, but I won't be paying Jamal $570, sorry.

 

Seeing as Cakes has no intentions to repay the amount he scammed I've gone ahead issued a 3 month ban + a permanent DNT (Do-Not-Trade/market-ban) rank onto his account which will need to be pardoned for. Sorry for your loss @Jamal Toepfer. Some advice moving forward is use a free trusted middleman rather than trusting a user this new with so much, and/or do small increments. I'll leave some useful trading links to note of moving forward below. Sorry to hear again.
