Pothead Personalities?

Most people I know, who started smoking pot (to the point they can be considered potheads) are just generally more lazy and chilled out.

I don't think i fit the stereotype of a stoner. I smoke about an ounce a week and as long as i can remember I've just been a pretty laid back and chill person. Anyone that says weed changed them or their personality doesn't know what they're talking about or they just don't know how to be responsible.


So no, weed has nothing to do with a persons personality unless they let it, which is stupid and immature.

 

I smoke weed everyday and play WoW hahaahahahahah and also, I'm not lazy.

Thats what I mean. Some people are just born naturally more relaxed and against the flow of everybody else. that equals more likely to smoke.

 

To be honest it depends on the person when i was doing it i was having like 3+ seshs a day and thats was like atleast a 20 bag. ended up being pretty dumb could speak properly couldnt think at all and just did stupid things but then i known people that have smoked it for years and there still algood so i say it depends on the person.

 

Lol weed isn't a drug, it's just a add-on to make other drugs better. I would never do meth without smoking some weed also.

I am stating the obvious generalizing would be saying well everyone didn't want that or mostly everyone wouldn't. I simply stated some people don't approve of using drugs to relax.

I ignore all of your posts because they are thrash and i never said anyone is ignorant to the effects of the drug. I said the people ''Ive met'' read my post again, didn't know what the drug was for they used it because everyone talked about how cool it was to be high.

I see no connection between how relaxed someone is and their likelihood to smoke weed.

 

i find it funny cuze my dep calls me and my freinds scum cuze we smoke weed when he use to grow, sell, and smoke pot with my buddys dad

ive seen people who are very relaxed and have the stoner personality and they have never even smoked weed just because they dont want to

on the other side, ive seen people who are active athletes with A/B honor roll who toke up 2-3 times a day

Im sure many people here would agree that statistically speaking, there is a heavy amount of weed users that are generally more relaxed then those who do not smoke.

 

This is similar to the "science" that says you should have two drinks a day to stay healthy.

Basically anyone who can take the time off to get high or a little tipsy will generally lead a longer and healthier life than those who don't. It alleviates peoples' stress, thus giving 'potheads' their relaxed persona.

The laziness is only really shown during a high, though (trust me, I lead a far from lazy life), thanks to the wonderful CBD's in marijuana. While smoking really proves this idea, I'm awaiting for my Da Buddha vaporizer to arrive in the mail, which when used correctly will produce a more energetic high.

I don't get the point of this thread. Of course there's going to be personality shifts if you use any mind altering drug for significant amount of time with habitual use. Don't think anyone could argue the opposite for any drug.

 

it depends on what the person whats to act like, when im high im just chill and more observant than i normally am, there are others who act seriously different but im not sure why

 

The thread is about more then that. What if there wasn't a significant amount of time or no habitual use? What kind of person is more/less likely to smoke some mary jane?
