Should weed be legalized?

Do you think we should be legalized? It would help fix the economy BIG time.
Weed's not bad, It has slight mind altering effects due to the THC. Sure it's bad for you but alcohol is WAY worse, Die all the time to Alcohol. Why doesn't the government take it away? Because it would nose dive the economy even further. Weed to Help HUGELY and it has no bad adverse affects.

Don't tell me it "Splits your personality" nothing can force you to have split personality's that is on a psychological level which you control and if you can't then you shouldn't use it. Yes, I know they still will. Regardless Alcohol tips the scale and crushes it compared to the dangers of weed.

I'm not saying I'm a "Pot Head", I will admit I have smoked weed before. It's fun once and a while. Yes, there will be people who smoke it almost all the time every single day and that's their choice. Weed isn't habit forming though, Sure you can get addicted but you can get addicted to anything that's fun.


So, Yes I think weed should be legalized.

Oh and no they wouldn't have to release the prisoners who are in for weed because they DID commit a crime illegal or legal in the future or not. (Just incase anyone brings that up). Thanks

I think it should be legalised with similar laws to Alcohol, its not nearly as bad as alcohol and is unaddictive.

Yes sir, this is definitely an issue that would need to be addressed.

Weed is by far better and more safe than alcohol is, as seeing when you're stoned, you're too lazy to really do much or in some cases, too lazy to even move.

Alcohol on the other hand, just makes people act stupid, driving a car for example. Listen to the news, and tell me how many people you hear about dying from a stoned driver. NONE. Now how about drunk drivers? Too many to count.

And on top of all, it would help this beyond shitty (excuse my language but it describes our economy) economy. For example, if weed was made legal and the government could control the distribution of it, then a major profit could be made which therefore lowers our taxes, and also would lower the crime rate of our society because dealing it would no longer be needed.

Anways, it should be legal and I fully support the legalization.

No it shouldn't be legalized; it promotes anarchy and although it would reduce marijuana trade it would increase the trade of other drugs. It would undermine education and other key parts of society. Drugs are defined as any substance that causes loss of complete control, and by that definition, they should be illegal.
