    Post your battlestations!

I went through 5 pages of posts and did not find a thread similar to this, so I'm sorry if this is a repost. The search button on this site is not the greatest either, so again I apologize if this has already been done.

The point of this thread is to show off your current gaming setup! Post your desks, computers, TVs, rooms, etc.

    My setup:

Yes that side panel is custom. My girlfriend's dad has access to a water jet at work, so he cut it out for me. I challenge anybody to make more precise cuts with something like a table saw / dremel XD. The plexi is not mounted yet.. need to get up to the hardware store to buy some mounting tape and some black molding for the sharp edges. He also cut this out for me to mount on the plexi.... AWESOME:

I've got a few upgrades planned out but the build is mostly done until I get a job (not likely since I just started college lol). I have a 15" cold cathode mounted in the bottom, but for the purposes of these pictures I had to turn my ceiling light on, which makes it look very dull. In person it's actually relatively bright and will fill up the case when the lights are off. They are sound activated as well, which is pretty cool. I plan to get another 15" to mount either on the top or the front of the chassis. I'm also gonna get my girlfriend's dad to make me a shroud for my PSU/cables and flip the PSU so the intake is pulling air from the bottom. I really love neat cases XD.

Since I know I'll probably get asked it, here's my specs:
    NZXT Phantom (white)
    Intel Core i5 2500k @ 4.2GHz
    Corsair H60 Liquid CPU Cooler
    Zotac GeForce GTX 480 @ 800/1600
    Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600
    ASRock Z68 EXTREME4 GEN3
    Seagate Barracude 1TB 7200RPM
    Thermaltake 750W Bronze
    Acer 21.5" 1080p LED LCD
    Razer DeathAdder mouse
    Razer Goliathus Extended Mouse Pad
    Logitech MK320 wireless keyboard
    Logitech 2.1 Surround

Go on now, post yours! Big or small, everybody is welcome to post their own setups. I didn't bother with my TV and Xbox 360 and all that because I rarely use it other than Netflix but feel free to post that too!

    Thanks :)

Not a bad rig you have yourself, how does that GPU do?

Meh, I've tried it with the monitor being just straight in front of the tower. I just prefer it to the side. It lets me see inside the tower, and the lights are not blocked by the monitor. Plus with the cutout on the front of my desk I can easily rotate to be pretty much in front of the monitor. This way just feels 'ergonomic' to me.

the 300 series are an OEM/lappie GPUs.
It does alright, at 1080p it maxes killing floor no AA at 60+FPS
Black Ops max no AA does 50-70fps depending on the map at 1080p.
Surprised how capable the GPU is.
When I get a job I'm hoping to scoop up a cheap 1156 board, and throw my cpu & ram in there and get a new case, psu & gpu.
We got the same speakers. :p

Lots of people have there monitors to the side because they don't sit directly to the desk, I lean my chair against the wall I just CBF moving my monitor xD
