    portforwarding help

    i have a actiontec m1000 and i cant figure out how to port forward i did the advanced portforwarding but it nots working i did it in the apps and gaming and its not working can someone help me plz

    To port forward, you generally have to access your router by your local IP. It can be accessed from a browser by typing:

    http://192.168.0.1/
    If prompted for user name and password, type these in (your router user name and password. If there is none, sometimes the user name will just be 'admin' with no password).

    Most routers' port forwarding section is located under an "Advanced" tab or menu. You will want the port range to be whatever the port of your server is (For example, 43594 - 43594). You'll want to accept UDP and TCIP connections if you're hosting a private server.

    Save your settings and you should be done.
