feels like I have done enough tbh. I don't even play this game anymore. I sold him an account for almost 6 months ago and it clearly says in my thead that "I'm not responsible for any bans/mutes/bans" after I traded/sold an account.

I have spent my whole day trying to find a sulotion to help this guy. Do I really have to wait 28 days?

And what do you mean by "once we find a solution"? either he will get back the account or not. I've heard it's a VERY small chance of getting an account unbanned.

 

Unfortunately that is not for you to decide.

Sythe rules trump your own terms and conditions in this case as we delve into account recoveries. These are the rules we currently abide by - I know they can frustrating and I sympathise, but it's what we have to go by.

This is currently the easiest potential solution to this problem, unless you wish to offer an alternative. It's unlikely to take 28 days.

Just curious. If the appeal fails to go through, am I held responsible?
I still have no idea how the account was lost, there's still the possibility he recovered it in the first place which if that's the case it'd be his fault it's banned.

I have been a loyal member on this forum for almost 5 years. I have donated 100dollars. The account of yours is not worth the time or the money I have spent here.

Either you have been hacked by being on very weird websites on internet or you have been scammed by a person that had access to the account of yours AND your email (which is weird). Simple as that.

I spoke with a Global about this and agreed that responsibility must lie with @Ponken. In addition to the way we usually deal with account sales, the further contributing factors are:
- The buyer originally reported losing access to the account to the seller on the 14th https://i.imgur.com/YSlT31R.png
- The account was not recovered by the seller until the 17th, at which point it was banned on the same day

@Ponken you can either wait until we hear back from Jagex regarding the appeal, at which point we discuss this further, or you can refund maxrs3gainz the 200m 07 he paid. Let me know at which point either one of these occur.

 

We won't hear anything from jagex because it's not appealable.

As I said before. I'm not playing this game anymore which means I am not really active here. The account wasn't banned before the account recovery. The account got banned AFTER the recovery. I got told by you and @Maxedrs3gainz to recovery the account, which I did. Now you want to blame me because I got the account banned?

I think it's very funny that the email me and @Maxedrs3gainz have access to have deleted mails from jagex which means that he always had access to the account?

Who is this Global mod? for some reason I am not able to PM anyone, not even a mod? I would like to talk to some mods about this because I find all this very very weird.

Thanks for the additional information. I can appreciate it's a bit of a weird situation. I'm currently discussing this with a few other moderators. I'll keep this thread updated with the decision if it changes and the conclusion we come to.

The account could have been banned before you recovered it for me. I wouldn't know, I didn't have access to it. There's still the possibility that you recovered it originally once, and then it got banned which is why your returned it to me.

Always had access to the account? I always had access to the EMAIL you provided me. Which when I tried to recover the account it got denied instantly.

 

I find it very weird that you got the "reset password" to that email when that account wasn't registered on that email?

It's highly unlikely that the account got banned 1 second before the recovery. It's more likely that the account got banned after the recovery due to you logging in with "wrong" ip. If that's the case, you can't blame me since you asked me to recover the account and so did the MOD.

You provided me with fake recovery information. I lost the account where the password and email to it was changed. I tried to recover, and couldn't, because you gave me fake information. Then suddenly you recover it perfectly fine, and it's banned for RWT?

 

I used the information that was sent to you on Skype 6 months ago. I don't save any information about the accounts I sell. (however this will be changed in the future.)

How come you got the mails 15/16/17 january when the account was hacked 14/15 january?

I recovered the account 17 january and that made [email protected] to the NEW email.

How come you got mails 2 days before I recovered the account when it was hacked?

When you send in a request to recover an account, you have to put in an email address to have the results of your recovery request sent to. I put [email protected] as that email because it was the first email registered to that account (the email you gave it to me on).
There's requests for all those days because you ignored me on Skype until I made a report, so I kept attempting to recover it myself.

Reset password request was when you sent in the recovery. I changed the password after the recovery went through.

You were on Sythe and Skype during that time. I've given proof of that in the report, and @Vlad can confirm that

I have auto login on Skype when I turn on my computer, that explains it.
I didn't see any messages on Sythe.

 

They clearly say they were denied. This is because when you go to recover a runescape account it goes as a password reset request. Anybody can verify this easily.
You would've seen my skype messages having been logged in.
