[POLL] - Sythe Early Bump Cost - Sythe gold - Come Vote

Please vote on what you would like to see the Sythe early bump cost moved to.

Currently it sits around 750 sythe gold($7.50 in todays market) and has only been used 3 times in 6+ months which is unacceptable.

Voted $4 for my good friend bogdan, may sythe gold forever rise..... Think this drastic price change will increase usage!

 

Since this feature has been used a total of 7 times, two of which were Matthew, this is a great idea. I think $2.50 is a good starting point, if its too cheap it should fix itself over time by causing the price of SytheGold to increase.

 

I voted $2.50. Hopefully we'll see more people use this feature.

Have we thought about increasing the time the early bump takes off? Perhaps to 4 hours?

$7.50 for an early bump is way too much atm.

Considering we have literally a 94% community consensus on having it between 100-250 sythe gold I feel that the community has pretty much decided.

60% of the vote is 100 sythe gold, 34% is 200-250 sythe gold.

It's up to you what specific figure u want to go with but the vast majority said 100 sythe gold, the 2nd largest majority said 200-250.

I would personally advise to just do 100 and let the market shift, we assume 100 is $1 right now but as sythe gold gets used heavily it will raise the price I think.

It's blatantly clear though with a 94% majority it should be 250 or under.

I voted 250 as 100 is just wayyy too cheap..

 

Start it low. It's probably easier to just start at the bottom and adjust it (raise) over time to find the sweet spot. Probably hard to do any comparisons if you just start in the middle at 250.

 

Voted for 100 as the price in USD will increase as gold is removed from the pool.

Not only for a price change, but for early bumping in general.

This is not fair to users who are trying to offer services and products but don't have the means to pay $2.50 if they want an early bump, where as a RS gold overlord can just sweep the competition under the rug because they have a large bank roll behind them

Early bumping sounds good on paper but with the ability to simply buy sythe gold I don't think it is fair to uses with no money.


"Oh they can just use there sythe gold they earn".... Do you really think someone is going to give up 3-7 days of work posting on sythe to get their post bumper a few hours early?!?!

Am i the only one who thinks this caters to users with bigger wallets? I do not see how this is fair. If a user has no money to spend on sythe gold and sythe gold takes a long time to gather, why should users be able to just pay there way to the top, think about this for a second

User A has no money so he makes a thread and bumps it every 8 hours
User B has unlimited amount of money and can bump his post every 4 hours

Users C,D,E,F,G,H all have large wallets and can do the same...

..... no matter how many times User A bumps his posting, users B,C,D,E,F,G,H, + can always move User A's thread down because they can bump 2 times in the same time frame that user A can bump once.

I just don't see how this makes since or why this is a thing. If you lower this price to $2.50 the only people you will see on the front page of a specific thread are the users who pay $2.50 every 4 hours.. That may seem like a lot of money, but I promise you, people like Bolga and Arcus have the money to spend on this, and it will only pay off for them since there postings will always be on the top of the front page.... This a prime example of Pay-to-win
