Pinlines=Illegal.

What you guys are saying is utter bullshit:
One way or another pinlines always come up:
Situation 1:
Seller uses pinlines sells the pins for 4usd each.
Situtan 2:
Seller buys pins att bulk price for 2,5usd and resells for 4usd (the 2,5usd pins come obviously from a pinline owner).

What is the difference?
Either ways you are using illegally obtained pins anyways, so why are you crying about it?

If you buy drugs you go to jail as well no?
Then you should be banned for buying pins underpriced, no?
Jeez, think more guys before posting crap like this please.

I've never purchased a pin from a Runescape Blackmarket site. Never will, personally I prefer official pin

Also this isnt only directed at pinlines. Im making a statement, one illegal activity wont get you banned. Another will. Its ignorant

IF ONE ILLEGAL ACTIVITY IS ALOUD
ANY OTHER SHOULD BE AS WELL

ILLEGAL=ILLEGAL

I don't buy runescape pins, and I don't think it's fair that members can get away with something that is equivalent to fraud, when other things that don't even concern sythe can cost you your staff position and get you banned.

Sythe Awards 2010 Winner
Tier 1 Prizebox
Things Illegal That WILL get you banned.

Auth Sales
Program Cracks

Auth sales will not get you banned and program cracks (unless you made them) will only get you a one month ban because posting them will get this forum in trouble.

so you say, you have never ever bought OR sold a pin through this site, correct?

From a legal standpoint, you are severely mistaken. Let me give you a better analogy.

I am talking about legal drugs with no resale limitations (jagex pins are legal and i doubt there are resale limitations on them)

I am stealing drugs from a drug factory in Delaware and selling them on the street. ILLEGAL

I am buying the drugs from a man who sells them for cheaper than the factory, but I have never questioned his motives so I take them to be genuinely bought from the factory, even though I have no idea where they are from and may have personal doubts. I resell them on the street. LEGAL

Of course, drugs have resale limitations, but as stated previously, I doubt jagex pins do.

Your obviously going to cover-up. And 10,000 pins a month is sure as hell not legit. So technically in that case. Your Guilty for being with the a person that commited a murder.

Guilty by infatuating with one. 10,000 pins a month is obvious.

C O V E R U P

Do not understand what you are attempting to articulate here. Murder?

so you say, you have never ever bought OR sold a pin through this site, correct?

Not from anywhere. I've never played runescape.

(jagex pins are legal and i doubt there are resale limitations on them)

The TOS states you cannot buy a pin for anyone other than someone in your immediate family. The practice of selling pins itself is illegal already.

Oh wait, CP and trusted seller, you guys never downloaded music off the internet, have you now??

Pinlines are allowed while botnets and keyloggers aren't because they aren't malicious to other users. Yes, they are illegal, and yes someone is getting cheated along the line somewhere, but it's some multi-billion dollar corporation in Australia. Sythe's first interest is to protect it's users and in the case of pinlines and pinsellers, they aren't harming anyone so it's once again on that "We won't ask" and "You won't tell us" policy.

Violating Jagex ToS isn't illegal, it's just violating their ToS.

HAHAHAHAHA, THIS JUST MADE MY DAY.
You just made them both look stupid.

What are you trying to get at? There are certain things that are more illegal than others.

Scamming here on sythe or anywhere else will get you banned here.

Pinlines are fraud; essentially you are scamming and stealing $10 from someone to buy a pin.

Botnets and keyloggers do not have to be malicious. Pinlines ARE malicious in the sense that you are literally STEALING $10 from someone you don't even know! This is probably the closest you can get to scamming, yet it does not get you banned? That's just silly!

Fuck off, especially if you have nothing useful to say.

Please be so kind and answer me: have you downloaded music off the internet before? yes or no.

I believe you are confusing ToS and Law. And even if the ToS was the law, would you recommend removing the market section completely? As everything in it would therefore be illegal.

Regardless, I am not saying pinlines should get you banned because selling pins violates their ToS. I am saying pinlines should get you banned because it requires you scam someone for 10$.

I said malicious to other users in reference to Sythe users. Does what I say make more sense now?

I'm acknowledging that pinlines is effectively stealing, but it is not stealing from Sythe users or other forum members, therefore it is not scamming on Syhte, and therefore it is not a bannable offence.

how do you scam someone by 10usd?
Noone is getting scammed, sir.

Wait again, did you download music before?
You're a scammer! You scammed the band!

It was a culminating ban, but for the most part it was for lying to staff members and providing a suspicious story about her other account..

That's not true. I"m positive amanda. was banned for using pinlines. I'm the one who did the report, and finn personally banned her.

EDIT: Not just using pinlines either, she was selling them.

This. People who use pinlines take the risk of "getting fucked by the long dick of the law" (sorry, my favorite quote, i had to throw it in there somewhere), but they are not doing anything that affects Sythe or its community.

I download music all day from the internet, it's 100% legal
your really being stupid about a simple point.

Pinlines scam whoever owns the phone number out of 10$ each time you purchase a pin. And no, I have not downloaded music illegally before. Your point?

Scamming offsite is a bannable offense.

That was what she was banned for in the end, but it was more her lying and the possibility of her (him?, it?) scamming someone, according to everyone knowledgeable on the issue I have asked.
