Personal Assistance Forum

So I really like the idea of a personal assistance problem, but I have seen a lot of misuse in it. My problem with it is the drugs, I don't think it should be allowed to post asking where you should hide your drugs, and how effective a certain dose of this or that and just general things like that. This is for personal assistance and not drug problems. I can understand if a person who is battling addiction post with honesty looking for help on how to get out of it and break the habit, but people looking for assistance in hiding, stashing, drug of preference suggestions or anything like that doesn't belong there.

Yer, I agree but You cant ban all "Drug" dicution, Just asking stupid Quetions like "Were Do I Hide it".

 

I wasn't suggesting that, but stupid things like. 'Where do I hide this?' or 'How much of this can I take to get high?'. Drugs are a serious problem and they do have their place in discussions but not in the way that many of those threads have made it.

 

You're assuming drugs are bad,
The first one was already locked, the 2nd one I've just locked, the 3rd and 4th are fine.

If you're having any doubts over a thread in any section, please just report it and a moderator will check it.

 

Everyone has their own unique problems; I don't support these being closed.

 

I do support these not being allowed in the PS&A section. If a person is looking for help because he realizes he has a problem, great. If a person wants to avoid being caught, then he should find another place to go with his problems. He obviously doesn't want real help.

 

I am not saying drugs are bad, I fully support Marijuana legalization - but I believe the core idea of Finn to get this forum created was not to help you hide your drugs.

 

I only see one thread about 'Hiding Drugs'.

 

There is also a thread, as I suggested, about getting high on cough syrup and how much I can take before I die. I think Finn created this for real problems, and these are not real problems - they are just spam. I just wanted to see something done about it before it became a problem.

I think its fine to post any problem there, its not mocking, they're being truthful and want help, However if Finn or any other staff think otherwise then I'll reconsider.

 

I can't say for sure but I don't think the forum was intended to be used for drug tips.

 

i support this because i really don't think we need those kinds of conversations on here, if we did help them hide their stash or give them an example of a good dosage, we're not really helping them we are only making their drug problem worse

 

I am half and half, sure we shouldn't allow questions like "where to stash my stash?" But the dosage questions I believe should be left alone. Alot of overdoses happen because of ignorance of potentcy. I would rather see you get high, than die.

Support, the forum shouldn't support stuff that is illegal. Look at the age range of some people on here, do we really need to be giving out tips on stuff like that? Let's not make it easier for kids to get their hands on and use drugs...

 

Any threads related to drugs or substance abuse should be locked, unless they are requesting help or assistance WITH their problem.
I put emphasis on "problem" because the thread they are creating should be about a SERIOUS issue they are dealing with.
