    In reply to controversy e.g. here Open discussion regarding miniranks here is my suggestion:

    Miniranks are confusingly managed and distributed in part because of the tiered prizebox design.

    I propose to set fixed rarities for miniranks and have a single prizebox from which you can win any minirank if you get lucky enough.

    However minirank "domains" would be kept separate. So one prizebox for the general miniranks and another for poke and so on.

    To help reduce the number of garbage miniranks in circulation I also propose we allow any three miniranks to be grinded into this new prizebox, with all other grinding disabled.

    Existing holders of tiered prizeboxes will not be forced to hand in those boxes and can still use them, but no new tiered boxes would be given out in the future and those remaining ones would become untradeable (but still usable/redeemable)

    Yes to everything, it should go back to one prizebox (revert the tier 1 prizebox back to regular prizebox).

    Keep the tier2+ prizeboxes but make it so they are not obtainable anymore as it's not fair to people who have them to just get rid of them.

    This is a sensible idea. Also, maintaining the grinder to reduce poop minis is also welcomed.

    Box holders should want to hold them anyways because of the uniqueness they’ll have.

    I agree with all the points here. There was never really a standardized way to award higher tier prizeboxes and they mainly ended up just being handed out as CDT event rewards almost randomly.

    Would the new box still be awarded for donations as tier 1 prizeboxes are now?

    I don't support this idea as it would devalue the rarity of pokemon mini ranks.

    The idea of grinding 3 shit mini ranks for a prizebox would just change the value of the market.

    Grinding tier 1s to make a prizebox that is highly likely to give you back a tier 1 but might if you're very lucky give you back something better is a recursive process. It would mop up all the oversupply of low value miniranks and increase their rarity at the expense of a few new higher value miniranks going into circulation

    I support this suggestion. It still saddens me that there are still quite some pokemon mini's that are yet to be obtained. I would highly be in favour of a way to get more Pokemon Miniranks in circulation as well. Even you selling Pokemon prizeboxes for a fixed price.

    If you would sell them for 50$ each, some of the less interesting pokemon would devalue to around 35-40$ so it would still be a gamble. Right now there are just not that many Pokemon miniranks in circulation and the majority are kept by a few individuals. This might slightly devalue the price of the current pokemon minis, but I'm sure it will highly increase the market cap and your profits as well.

    Support in general, I think that recycling garbage ranks will be beneficial long run to help rarity of some other ranks. And I think it is smart to keep poke and normal separate as you noted. And it's nice that current boxes can be kept if the owner so chooses.

    A lazy fix. How is that fair on all the people who have rarer minis? There are like 800 t1 prize boxes out there.
    Yes but after the changes the other minis went up in price because there was less supply from the said prizeboxes.
    I don't think pokemon is the issue here its the other rare miniranks.

    I think this is a good start though tbh just needs some tweaks. Before someone says I have a conflict of interest im dumping all my minis regardless with no money going to me so it doesn't effect me at all.
