Paying flight tickets with BONDS ??

http://services.runescape.com/m=news/runefest-2015--save-the-date-1?oldschool=1

In the poll due to launch later this week you can vote on whether you'll be able to buy tickets - as well as flights, hotel rooms and spending money - with your Old School Bonds.

Interesting.

Lol...
RWT at its finest

[Swaze]

Wouldn't they be at a loss if they paid for their expenses in exchange for bonds?

[Dave]

Honestly this looks awesome, I'll just go stake and buy myself two tickets to the UK. I won't even go to runefest, just take a cool vacation

My thoughts exactly... Unless they feel it would stop people from "RWT" to pay for it lol.

All bonds have to be purchased with real money from Jagex.

Lol highly doubt it would be worth more than selling the gp to a gold-buyer and then buying the tickets with pp.

I mean, why not?

Don't get in your emotions now

Jagex is basically allowing rwt'ing here

Jagex is basically allowing rwt'ing here

they've been allowing it for quite a while now

[AgentPerry]

Quite a smart move from jagex.. It's like extremely expensive RWTing + they probably have some deals with flight companies to get cheap prices which makes it even more profitable for them.. lol

Edit: and I didnt even mention the moneysink yet! lmao Jagex going hard on the win-win-win situations

Not a bad idea on their end, should help boost how many people show up to the event.

Sounds like a good idea to me, will just help get more people to show up hopefully.

[Zylo]

its good money sink, honestly.

[sailor130]

Yea, lets make a nerdfest with nerds, who pay with their pixels cus they are nerds.

[Zinc]

So basically we can now buy tickets by phone? Interesting...
