It'd be different for you, I'd need your height/weight/gym experience in order to help ya with your routine/nutrition

Search for reddit's PPL routine. You don't have to do it 6 days a week if it's too much volume, you can cut one of the leg days. Who the fuck needs legs amirite

Linear progression = try to increase weight each time you go to the gym. Apparently a lot of people struggle with this. It should be hard to get those last reps out every time ya dig?

Based on your TDEE I'm guessing you're skinny as fuck. I'd start eating 2500ish calories and working out at least 4 times a week with that routine.

Do you have access to an oven? Chicken breast from Fred Meyer is $2/lb. Eat a pound a day. That's 500cal and 100g protein just in animal carcass. Put that shit in a skillet, top with salt, pepper, unsalted garlic powder or curry powder, and butter/olive oil. Cook up some brocolli and rice. Bake that shit until it turns delicious. Pour the juices in the skillet over the rice and top with the chicken. You've got a nutritious as fuck meal there for $3.

Hit me up if you have any questions mang. It was really hard for me to get started without anyone helping me so I know how it feels

Just PR'd and picked up 325 for 1. Felt easy, so decided to go for 335 and couldn't get it. Next time!

Here's an update, this one's for you @Andy Samberg

Took this on my last day of a cut, bulking on 3,000 a day now trying to keep it very clean. Here's to another journey ^_^

Damn dude, you're definitely a badass. I'm very jelly, makes me try to think of some way to get back into the gym more, maybe I'll trade sleep :p

What's your ab/oblique workout like? Actually what was your whole routine like? We have extremely similar body types so I might try it out.

Standard push - pull - legs with leg day having both deadlifts and squats. Make sure you start with the compound movement you want to improve on, then go on to the second one. I do deads first, and squat after because I'm trying to improve my deadlift. I do abs every day they aren't sore, just a simple superset of 120lb ab crunches x25, leg raises with an isometric hold and a slow eccentric phase x25, and side bends with a 45 plate x25 on each side. I do that circuit 3 times and I'm pretty toast after that.

    Sweet thanks!

That split is what I'm doing too, but you're going 10x as hard on abs as me, and it shows. Prob gonna give that a try.

Btw, what city do you live at in Cali?

Thanks man, I know! I'm really trying to stay on top of my game, but with school it's getting a bit hard to eat right and lift. It's definitely still my #1 priority, how are your lifts going dude?

Definitely give my routine a try, it's not too bad! And if you actually wanted to lift together or something we can always arrange something

Awesome transformation so far @Pure! Looking absolute on point man, definitely inspiring me to get back into the gym. I've been slacking ever since I've picked up more hours at work.

Usually a big side-affect of weight loss shocks the body and loose skin is an issue, how's that going? Any around the arms, back, or stomach? Seems like your body responded well to the drastic change.

Not that I can see, just a bit of fat on my lower stomach and glutes that's stubborn, but it'll probably go away when I cut down again in a few months.
