  Before the whole Chicks incident, me and multiple users bought hacked gold knowingly. This was due to the fact that I myself did not know it was against the rules. I spoken to multiple traders and a majority of them did not know it was a rule. Because gold trading is pretty simple, you take the gold and you pay the seller. I never knew there was a regulation to it, I am not the only one. I can't name any names but a lot of reputable sellers and buyers do not know of this rule. I doubt any user read through the sythe rules as its a given that scamming or blackhat isn't allowed. However buying hacked gold isn't people believe is wrong or against the rules. The rule isn't even in the official sythe rules thread as far as I know. It's posted by Richard here -

  It's in a thread not even relating to ban reasons. Before even typing this pardon up, I thought it was actually in the official sythe rules. I am not saying what I did was right, however I don't believe I actually done anything wrong. As soon as I knew of this I started asking people I am not used to trading if their gold is hacked. I even turned down a 1k+ profit trade because the user said his gold was hacked-

  Most people know me of a trustworthy guy even with my past and the memes I make about breaking rules etc. This was something I was not aware of till the incident I mentioned. Gold trading is simple, you take the gold and you pay the seller. No one ever told me that there ever was a rule for not buying gold because it was hacked. What I did was against the rules, and I will never buy stolen property again. Most users know of me as a good person that actually cares about being a part of Sythe, even with all the memes. There is nothing else for me to say
