Ok I got a HD 42" panasonic plasma TV that I play my Xbox on. I recently got a HDMI cable thinking the graphics will be more sharp.The default on the xbox when its plugged in is 720p but this setting always leaves a small portion on either side of the screen blank. When I put the setting to 1080p everything is fine and the screen looks superb but my games/xbox 360 often crash/ and freeze. Non of this affected me before when I used my AV cable, but I want to know how I can fix this. And if anybody knows a solution.
