Aight, he's 13-14 years -- The idiot I mentioned earlier was 15 years old when it happend. Adam can still go to the police and report him for assault and all that shit.

He wont be getting a prison sentence, but it would send out a message to everyone that there will be consequences if you do bullshit stuff like that.
And for the teachers.. All of them cant be retarded? Talk to someone you actually know could help.

I would really advice you to go to a teacher and tell them whats going on. And demand that they talk to the idiots. That kind of bullshit should atleast be getting a suspenion, if not being kicked out.

Yeah, thats an awesome idea.. Fight fire with fire! End up getting suspended from school and a visit from the police. //Its rather unlike on this case cause his teachers/school choose to look away on this issue.

If there's anything he should NOT do is to go Columbine on those motherfuckers. -- Arent there any "peers" that can help out? There's been peers in all the schools I've been in, its regular students that reports to the schoolboard if someone is getting bullied.

 

Ireland obviously lacks the power and strength to protect his friend. Personally, I find that reporting petty matters like these to the police/teachers is a sign of cowardice. It shows that you're dependent on other people. In order to protect yourself, you need to be self-reliant. And self-protection is what Adam needs right now. Sadly, I have high doubts he can change so easily.

So? What should you do? Well, I think the best way is to simply... mind it a little. The way I see it, there's nothing neither you or Adam can do about it. You just don't have the instinct, the strength or the power. Just so Adam doesn't commit suicide out of depression, cheer him up as much as you can. That's about all you can do.

 

Ireland clearly doesnt lack the strength or power to protect his friend -- but if he did, atleast he's trying to help him out. Not like the other idiots that doesnt try to do anything about it.

If you read his post carefully, you'll see that this isnt "petty matters". And it shows that he's dependent on other people if he reports it to a teacher/police? What the fuck? Isnt he allready depending on Ireland to cover his back, to try helping him out when he's getting bullied? No offence to you, Ireland. But its probally better to be depending on a teacher/police that could take this case into matter than depending on a friend that also could get hurt and/or get in trouble.
And the advice you gave him.. to "mind it a little" - Thats not an advice, thats just telling Ireland & Adam to look away while he's getting bullied. And thats a fucking sign of cowardice.

 

I don't really think there's nothing you can really do now as the hate on Adam is already humongous. But show Adam that he needs to fight for himself, and not be protected all the time because one day, he will have to fight for himself and nobody will there to watch his back.

 

Most of those kids will grow up in 9'th or 10'th grade.There won't be any bullies on high classes.Both of you can go learn jiutjitsu or some shit.If those kids will know that you'r going to jiujitsu lessons they will be affraid to attack.Don't worry, Adam won't be bullied whole life.All of us will grow up and get more brains into our heads.

 

You're not wrong for helping your friend. I'm sure you've heard violence isn't the answer many times, but unfortunately it is. I feel sorry for John the most. It's not his fault, it's genetics. Really all that warrants is a different method of him learning things, in this case, physical pain. If you've spoke with him about "fucking off", and he's refused, it's time to step up to him yourself.

I also agree with some above people, attempt to teach Adam how to fight. I'm not fat, and I don't have curly hair, but I do wear glasses and it doesn't really hinder street fights at all. How I learned was doing some organized matches with friends with gloves (I took my glasses off). We'd get a crowd of some friends and some girls and it'd be a lot of fun. Have three minute rounds to some music in the background, and always be respectful. Don't spar with people that you don't trust not to get out of hand or those that don't really know how to fight (if you hit basically any body part the wrong way you can kill someone, but let's not go into that...).

Also, on a bridge? What if one of you or a person in the crown would have fell OFF the bridge? I don't really think you or any of the people around you think of what could have happened. Today is the three year anniversary of this girl's death, 15 years old, missed her school bus and tried to run to school through a shortcut, got hit by a train. She could have just stayed home...

When you do ameliorate the situation, don't over-do it on John, have mercy. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

 

He has gotten into multiple fights but the question is; did he win? That's a negative as far as I know. If he was strong enough, he could have intimidated those guys to back off already. That's the main problem here. They're vulnerable. Why else do you think they're being targeted?

Maybe not in your books, but in mine it is. It's not murder. It's not rape. It's just everyday bullying. While Adam clearly hasn't done anything wrong to deserve all this, it's life so he'd better get used to it or do something about it (highly unlikely).

Yes, reporting to the authorities is a form of cowardice in my opinion but I do not think lowly of those who resort to that option. I can fully understand that not everyone is born strong, and some have to rely on others. But the main fact you're forgetting here is that he's already tried reporting about these incidents to them, and they just told him off.

You're getting cowardice and tolerance mixed up. My advice was to tolerate it a little, and only retaliate when they start something extreme. That's not something bad, is it? What other options does he have? Get stronger, learn how to fight? Somehow I doubt he or Adam will accomplish that, but if they're truly determined, they can try it.

You seem to be doing all you can do, don't get in any fights for him because you'll just get yourself in trouble. You and Adam should go the the head of the school and talk to him about the bullying and see if he can make it stop or at the least lessen it.
